The parking was with in a block of the hotel.the hotel amenities were good and the staff was friendly

Beautiful historic hotel in nice, walkable neighborhood with shops and restaurants.

Staff was wearing masks, super friendly, quiet, deep bathtub, clean, easy parking, and terrific walkable location. The room was luxurious for the current pricing. I can see why there might be noise on a full weekend with events downstairs post-COVID, like with any hotel.

They have Friendly and very helpful staff. The outside rooms attached are nice to stay in for the ease of access to your vehicle and outside.

Very clean with period-correct decorating. Great location!

Loved the calm and quiet neighborhood, the rooms are very clean

When checking in we where impressed with the lobby of this old hotel. But then informed we weren’t going to be staying in the hotel itself because we booked online !!! They placed us in this 70’s looking motel adjacent to the hotel and said it will be closer to the parking lot!! I would’ve argued but we already had a long day and just wanted to crash. No safe in the room. Not what I would expect for that area costing$140 a night.

Well situated facility to Chicago attraction on the West side. Two restaurants to dine in plus many more in walking distance. Charming atmosphere.

Convenient to where I was working. Located in a cute downtown area with shops, restaurants with brick covered roads and tons of flowers and plants lining the sidewalks. I stayed in the “motel” part, which I was a little worried about, but ended up being great because there’s a small kitchenette. Staff was very attentive and helpful. I called at 430 am because a neighbor was being very loud, and the front desk staff came within 10 mins to help me change rooms so I could be rested for work. Would definitely stay again.

I was staying at this hotel on business. I had a lot of meetings around town. I was using Lyft and Uber for getting to and from those meetings. When I was in the room on the second floor I had decent cell connection for connecting with the car services and voice. When I was on the first floor in and outside the hotel cell connection was very very weak causing me to not be able to have voice communications or losing connection with the car services. Outside of that technical issue, is a very nice, old-style hotel what you don't see much of anymore. It was very clean and enjoyable.

Very nice, an excellent choice, beautiful Oak Park

Great location in Oak Park with no charge for parking.

Comfortable stay. Always a good reception from the staff.

In our Friday-Sunday stay we did not receive housekeeping service. We asked at the desk on Sat and again on Sun. why not and the clerk said that we requested no service when we booked the room!!!! I didn't even know that was a thing. No apologies, nothing.

Relaxing place to escape the world. That is all -

Hotel is old but convenient for Oak Park. Room was very small. Bed was very small for queen size . My wife fell out and badly bruised her face. Difficult to navigate for a person with walking impairment. Not worth the high price.

Close to everything in Oak Park including public transportation to Chicago.
