I spent 3 nights here recently, when I returned to my hometown of Chesterfield to visit family and friends. The ibis is very conveniently located close to the centre of Chesterfield, but you have to take your life in your hands if you want to walk into town. There are no pedestrian crossings nearby, and the road and roundabout that you have to get across are both very busy. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it was clean, comfortable and pretty spacious. It was a little noisy one of the nights, which I don't think was helped by the ability for people to wander about in the elevator and along the corridors with pints of beer in their hands.
