After a full day of visiting the area, and Angry Orchard, we checked into our king bed room. It was very clean and comfortable. I think that grey color scheme felt a little heavy and drab. I did see some double bed rooms, they looked a bit more spacious and less cramped. But, when we woke up the ...

This is a new hotel in Beacon, NY. It looks retro, but is in fact new and because the owner is also the architect he made sure the hotel looks good. The rooms are comfortable, large bathroom with nice shower. Sink is outside of bathroom which we liked. It has a few larger rooms (which we saw) that looked very spacious and comfortable. Smaller rooms are good size. Smaller rooms don't have windows, though they have tasteful glass block units. Staff are friendly and helpful. Hotel has spa, though didn't use it so can't comment. No food served, but they have tea throughout the day in the lobby and coffee in the morning. Overall we liked this hotel and staff.
The location was perfect for my trip. The room was very clean. Great coffee available 24/7. Friendly and helpful desk people. Only problem was wifi ... my phone and laptop would never connect.
Clean room and a friendly staff. Close to stores for picking up things you forgot to pack. Nice drive to train station and good starting point for sight seeing.
This hotel continues to maintain it's facility and rooms. Still clean and fairly current. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and courteous. Small business center and indoor pool. Breakfast is well worth the $12 price although other restaurants nearby. It is convenient to all the Hudson Valley sites and is a great centralized location. Fairly quiet location but with easy access to interstate 84, and only a short drive to Beacon (DIA museum), Hudson River views, West Point, Hyde Park (30 minutes) and the train to and from NYC. Cabs are a little sparse and a car is your best bet for this area. Beacon has improved with more and more restaurants and some small retail shops, antiques and art
