Amazing upgraded property (still with colonial vibe including floors, balconies, doors, windows, etc). In the heart of old San Juan. Parking was tricky but that’s everywhere in old San Juan during high season. Spotless property with A/C and W/D. This one was in Tanca Street for 10 guests. Perfect!

The price was right however you get what you pay for. We stayed 5 nights and no housekeeping was ever in our room except to check on a leaking wall after rain. The carpet was a soggy mess but no attempt to clean up was made. We tried to get the shuttle into town a couple of times but either there was no one to drive it or it was gone. We enjoyed walking however some times that shuttle would have been nice. People at the front desk were generally helpful - some more than others. Breakfast was abysmal although I appreciated the coffee machine. Hotel is a bit out of the way.

The hotel is overrated. The furniture in the rooms are filthy, and with so much condensation the floors are a fall hazard. Poor quality Wi-Fi and we’re charged $5 for utensils for our room service order. We could never reach the front desk even prior to check in to set up special in room services. The staff was very lackadaisical. This anniversary stay was very disappointing.
