Great location and service....room very clean...walking distance from most attractions downtown....

My second visit to this hotel, I requested a room not close to the Ielevators and not a handicap room. Disappointed they gave me both.

The hotel was very easy to get to from airport and located to many restaurants, sights and walking bridge via walking. We didn't even need our car. The hotel had an outdoor heated pool with fire pit that was great to sit at with cocktail in evening. The hotel restaurant was adequate, bar was a plus. Starbucks coffee in lobby in morning big plus.

We really enjoyed our stay. This hotel was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Great location!

The hotel was in the perfect location it was within walking distance of excellent restaurants and entertainment. The room was clean and comfortable. We couldn't have asked for better service from the hotel staff, and the workout room was great!

I stayed 3 nights for business this past week. Yes it's expensive since I paid $179 per night and have paid less at other 5 star hotels with more to offer, but the service was excellent from the valets, front desk, restaurant and bar staff. All were pleasant, accommodating and well versed in the area of downtown Chattanooga. I was surprised that the room service food, though not an extensive menu, was well prepared, came within 20 minutes, very tasty and very HOT! Not a usual occurrence during my many stays at other hotels. I will return to this hotel.

Enjoyed our stay. Very close to everything. Great staff

Was in town for a work trip. Hotel is in a great location to downtown. Easy parking. Staff is pleasant and works quickly. Used both the virtual office and the gym, both were well above average for hotels of this price range. Rooms were clean and had plenty of amenities. Will undoubtedly stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Doubletree it was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and the beds where very comfortable. the salt water pool was very nice and the food at the hotel was good the only complaint we had was no continental breakfast included in our stay and we did not receive our cookies at check-in

When we walked in we got 2 warm cookies to great us. Not a bad start. The room was big and clean. The bed was super comfy. All in all I would certainly stay there again.

Nice hotel, great location. They charge for parking whether you valet or self park.

The hotel was in a great location. It was within walking distance to many great restaurants, a movie theater, the aquarium and other local attractions. The staff was not only friendly but everyone from the valet to the front desk knew the area and could offer recommendations. The only thing I found to be a problem was that the housekeeping staff DID NOT clean our room thoroughly and left our dirty towels on the floor. On the day we were leaving the housekeeper tried 3 times to enter our room (even though we had a 1:00 pm checkout) and as we left she was standing outside of our room and gave us a hateful glare. That aside, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to others.

A bit overpriced for the offering, no breakfast, out of coffee frequently.

Its in the heart of the downtown area. Please note, the rooms are very small... Many have showers only. The hotel was filled to capacity and only one elevator was operating... I waited 15 minutes on two occasions for it to open on my floor where their was room for me too get on...

We have never been disappointed when staying at a DoubleTree Hotel. The rooms are always very comfortable, modern, and clean. We were able to easily walk from our hotel to see the sights of downtown Chattanooga, and we would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful service and extremely comfortable beds. Staff did every thing they could to ensure we were taken care of.

The valet park, front desk, business center, restaurant, room service and bar were all good. Very nice with friendly service. Housekeeping is the big negative. I was there 3 days. The room was marginally clean, dusty, etc. and a couple of hairs (yuk!). In addition, the housekeeping staff was very loud, rude, and profane while hanging around in the corridors of the 10th floor. They definitely need more training if this hotel is to achieve its potential. The location is fantastic within walking distance to many major attractions and restaurants.

I stayed at the Double Tree by Hilton for 2 nights in November of 2011. I was in town for a wedding and wanted to take advantage of the time in Chattanooga to do a little site seeing as well as relaxing. The hotel is convenient to the downtown river front area (short walk), bars and restaurants. The location is fantastic. It is very new and very clean. I stayed in a standard room which had a great TV, microwave, coffeemaker and small refrigerator. There is a very nice lounge on the second floor with a couple of large screen TV's for taking in a game in your downtime. In addition, there is a restaurant, business center if you need access to a computer and small convenience store. The staff was very helpful with anything you needed and knowledgeable about the downtown Chattanooga area. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chattanooga.

Valet parking was an unexpected feature. The pool was beautiful. Everything was the hotel provided was great. In walking distance to EVERYTHING. We parked for the entire trip. Check in and check out were a breeze! Delicious cookies when you check in. The only negative is that it seems as if the walls were super thin. We were in a room that had a suite option (adjoining rooms) and we heard every word our loud neighbors said.

The staff were among the nicest I have encountered when staying at a hotel. Will plan on staying again in the future.
