Property was terribly dirty, claims doing renovations but this was beyond renovation dust. Rooms were dirty. Floor covered in dirt and dog hair. Furniture was beat up and there were roaches in bathroom.
I showed up early, due to a red eye flight from the west coast. It was around 11:00am when check in time is 2:00. I explained my situation and the nice lady told me it’ll be 1/2hr to an hour. I felt like that eas a pretty good deal. I asked her if there eas somewhere I could wait, but the lobby was closed due to COVID, so I had to wait outside. After about a half hour of looking at homeless outside the kind lady came out and invited me in. Upon entering the facility I noticed paint and mess all around the halls on my to the room. (There were signs in the elevator asking to excuse the mess due to remodeling) After entering my room I discovered they are not only renovating the halls/lobby they were also doing the rooms. There was dryed paint spots all over the couch the floor the TV, the bathroom facet, it was everywhere. I inspected the bed and sheets and they were relatively clean, so that made me feel better. When I looked down on the floor, not only did I see the paint spots I noticed hair
Smelled like dogs & cigarette on the 1st floor, the room was dirty, some light did not work, Tv was not set-up, No breakfast, No coffee, No Lobby. Out side look ok
Front Desk personnel were very friendly and professional, especially the beautiful blonde lady! The cleanliness of the hotel could have been better. A little run down.
There were cigarette burns in the sheets and blankets. Got new sheets and blankets and there were cigarette burns in those as well. Floor wasn’t swept for mopped. There were other people’s things still laying on the tables when we got in there. We had our 5 month with us and the whole place smelt like weed and cigarettes.
The water pressure in shower was non-existent, it took over 20 minutes to rinse off soap and shampoo. Only 4 smal tables in breakfast area, no room to sit or get around people. Rough scratchy towels. Nothing in walking distance even though it is listed as downtown.
It was not very clean and the front desk was sitting watching tv when I came in to check in.
Paid for hot tub room did not have one ...check with staff said only had 3 room with hot tubs and there was not one available ..they said they only charge us 99.00 but orbitz still took 139.00 from my account
There are two ice machines, one had no ice, the other was broken down. Breakfast was fair - you could make a waffle.
Room was filthy. Lots of dirt smears around all door handles and entire door. Base boards in bathroom were covered in who knows what, with a large brown stain on the wall too. Just everything. And the bathroom floor tile/laminate was soaked in water. Everywhere you stepped liquid would seep UP around the edges
Hotel is under renovation. Pool was closed. Building was not secure. Breakfast was very sparse. Price was a little high for the accommodations.
Dump. And it smelled and the towels were stained dirty
We'll definitely stay at Red Roof, again. We were comfortable, slept great and everything was clean. We'll be telling our friends about our stay.
Lousy location not in an area I liked much. An older run down area
This hotel was poorly remodeled. Rooms were not really clean in the corners of the room. The bathroom sink was loose, floor tiles were loose. Obviously had been a smoking hotel not that long ago. No AC in the hotel, only window units in the rooms. Should only have cost 60 bux a night not 130. You won't get bed bugs or murdered here but don't stay here unless you have to. The only positive was the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The ac in our room is inadequate and also leaked a lot of water onto the floor.
Jessica was most helpful and friendly regarding several issues that were immediately resolved.
The most disappointing thing was when booking, was looking for a pool. This hotel does not have a pool. They advertise on the outside of the hotel that there is a heated pool. There is no pool.
