Our home is conveniently located near Charlotte’s Downtown, Bank of America Stadium (Panthers), Spectrum Arena, all what downtown has to offer, and the vibrant South End, offering easy access to a wide variety of restaurants, breweries, and local favorites. The neighborhood is a gentrified and evolving area, featuring a blend of newly built, high-end homes alongside older residences that reflect the area’s history and character.
What truly defines this neighborhood is its diversity. It is home to people from all walks of life, cultures, and backgrounds—longtime residents who have shaped the community for decades, as well as newer neighbors drawn to the area’s growth and energy. This mix creates an authentic, lived-in environment that reflects the current Charlotte: dynamic, multicultural, and welcoming.
Part of the neighborhood’s urban character includes a nearby active train line located about a mile from the home. When outdoors, the train is clearly audible as it passes. Inside the home, the sound is softened, with horns typically heard as a muffled or distant background noise. Train activity may occur at various times throughout the day and night and is part of the surrounding city environment.
Because of this, the area has an active, city feel rather than a quiet or resort-style setting. We believe in being fully transparent so guests can make the best choice for their stay. If you are not comfortable staying in a gentrified, diverse, and evolving neighborhood—or with the presence of normal city sounds such as passing trains—we kindly suggest exploring another area that may better suit your preferences.
You have access to our full home. There are 2 closets that are for our cleaning staff inventory, and a shed in the backyard that are locked and guests don't have access to it.

Our home has been refreshed for comfort, but it is not brand new. Expect some dents, scratches, or other signs of use that are normal in a lived-in home.
The house is located in a gentrified neighborhood. If you are not comfortable staying in a gentrified area, we truly appreciate your interest in our home but kindly suggest you look elsewhere.
Please respect our community by keeping noise low after **9:00 PM** and never parking in front of neighbors’ houses.

🐾 Dogs are welcome, but if you have allergies, this may not be the right home for you.
📍 Local guests (Charlotte & surrounding areas) must contact us *before* booking. Reservations without prior approval may be cancelled.
🪑 All of our outdoor furniture, games, and amenities are on an **HONOR SYSTEM** which means guests must put back chair covers, games back where they were, clean the grill pick up trash. Our cleaners are not contracted to pick up, clean, or put these items back in place. Please be respectful and return everything as you found it.
🌱 While we make every effort to keep the yard mowed, weather or a guest’s stay may occasionally prevent service. Thank you for understanding that timing can sometimes be beyond our control.
🌳 Nature & Wildlife
Our beautiful city is surrounded by nature, so you may see wildlife such as deer, coyotes, raccoons, squirrels, snakes, spiders, or outdoor roaches. Please keep doors closed to help prevent bugs from entering. Our home is serviced monthly by Orkin Pest Control, but the occasional bug may still find its way inside—this is simply part of living in a wooded area.
🐾 Pets & Safety
We love welcoming dogs, and make every effort to keep our backyards fences in good shape, but please remember you are responsible for their safety at all times. Our backyard is fenced, but we are not responsible if a pet gets out by digging a hole, or is injured while playing unsupervised in the yard. Guests with small dogs should carefully check the fence line, as smaller pets may be able to slip through in some areas.
🔌 Utilities & Comfort
We do our best to maintain all appliances, internet, and utilities, but outages can sometimes occur due to weather or provider issues. These are beyond our control, and no refunds are provided for such interruptions.
🚭 No Smoking / Candles / Open Flames
Smoking, vaping, and burning candles/incense inside the house are not allowed for safety and cleanliness reasons.
🌦 Acts of Nature
Severe weather (storms, heavy rain, etc.) may affect yard, power, or amenities. We cannot control these events, but we’ll do our best to assist.
