This is a very nice classic small hotel in a great location. Very helpful staff and they were nice to our dog.

Great staff and the location was perfect to walk all over the city. I would recommend this hotel for its customer service alone. The breakfast was great too.

Enjoyed the stay. Perfect location for walking around and being in the heart of activity. Room was a tad dry and had a noisy AC system. It was a bit nippy going from room to street as the rooms are around an outdoor courtyard, probably a nice feature when the weather is warmer.

We wanted to visit Charleston. The King Courtyard was an old historic hotel. Our room was 0ld but comfortable. The best thing about the hotel was that it was very convenient to the walk to the things we wanted to see. The breakfasts were tasty.

The bed and linens could have been better. One thin blanket and just two pillows on the bed, one for each person.

Loved our stay. Very comfortable and convenient to everything.

We visit Charleston at least 5 times a year so we have been able to stay at quite a few hotels in the area. My husband and I both agree, the Kings Courtyard Inn is one of our new favorites! The location right on King St. was perfect for everything we enjoy (dining, shopping, and just walking through the historic streets). We were traveling with our infant, so we were a little apprehensive, however, the friendly, attentive staff accommodated our every need. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we would love to stay here again.

The Kings Courtyard Hotel is centrally located in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. It is in a historic building dating back to the 19th century, but the rooms have been upgraded to be comfortably modern. A continental breakfast, which is served at individual tables by the kitchen staff, is included in the price. The cleaning staff is just average, but the conciergerie staff is fabulous. When I received word that my husband back home had passed away suddenly, Wyatt, the concierge on duty, was invaluable in helping my sister-in-law and I in cancelling our reservations at the Savannah hotel for which we had reservations.

We greatly enjoyed the location of this inn. The rooms are decent, and breakfast was satisfactory.

Not our first stay. We were first put into a double room, instead of the King we reserved. That was easily fixed. The WiFi is included, but only worked 60% of the time. The biggest problem we had was the staff, with "Please do not disturb" sign hanging on the knob, knocking on our door to see if we needed anything, or, on the last day, three seperate events when the staff wanted to know if we were through with the room yet. We checked out early on the last day! This single issue will likely prevent me from staying there again. The continental breakfast was great, and the kitchen staff was great. Also, the parking was advertised on multiple sites as included. Well, it is included at the rate of $12/day billed to your room. Also, had to pay for the room in advance when making reservations. I will not do this again.

Hotel is in a great location for seeing all the sights in town, and staff is very friendly (not unique in Charleston). My room was comfortable, quiet but dated. Breakfast room is inadequate but they will deliver to the room. We were there on a very busy weekend and the price was way too high for what the hotel offers. I might stay again but only if other options are not available.

Perfect combination of modern conveniences and authentic historic charm. Comfy beds, large rooms with great views, and the complimentary wine and sherry made our stay delightful. The easy access to most of Charleston's attractions and restaurants made this location perfect. We were able to walk in every direction enjoying every alley and niche along the way to our destinations. We will return - again and again.

Great location, but the room was not very clean we saw dust on the walls requested to be cleaned...they didn't. Pricy for what you got. The included breakfast was very weak.

The rooms are quaint and old Charleston charming and they are very clean. Location couldn't be better. Close to all shopping and any restaurant you would want to be near. We will be back!!

The bed was hard. And the shower needs more water pressure. But overall a good experience. Locations is great. Staff extremely helpful.

Friendly, helpful staff. Older hotel with lots of character. Good location in historic district within walking distance of harbor, restaurants, city market, and historic homes. Complementary continental breakfast and afternoon wine and cheese were very good. Would stay here again.

This was our first trip to Charleston, and we picked this hotel due to the price and location. We ended up loving this charming hotel! The location could not have been better, we walked to everything! The staff was wonderful, and helped us with every question we had, and made great suggestions on food and site seeing. The included breakfast was plenty to start our day, and the evening wine tasting was a highlight everyday!

Excellent location.Able to walk to all historic destinations and most restaurants. Was in town for Cooper River Bridge 10 K run. Parking in town was at a premium so having private parking at hotel was very nice. Room was cozy but very nice and very clean. Having option of having breakfast delivered to your room each morning is great and personal alternative. Hotel is tucked away privately in the city with gardens so it feels like a secret garden getaway.

Great location, nice, friendly staff - great place to stay

The kings Courtyard was great. The conceirge were very friendly and helpful. The Air Conditioning was wonderful. The Bed was very comfortable and you cannot beat the location. The Hotel was right in Downtown and you can walk to many great restuarants. We would definately stay again!
