The remote for the television did not work. Mold on inside of shower curtain. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30. Had to wake up desk person about breakfast and breakfast wasn’t served until after 7:15, so, we missed breakfast. Certainly, not an ideal stay.

After being moved from an initial room due to a smoke detector covered with plastic and tape, we encountered additional issues in the second room, including a clogged sink and sticky floors, which were addressed. However, later that night, we discovered what appeared to be an unchanged bed with visible human residue on the mattress pad and upholstered bed frame. When we reported this, staff responded dismissively, implied they had already done enough for us, and even suggested the condition could have been caused by us. That response was unacceptable. Due to safety and sanitation concerns and unprofessional handling of the situation, I cannot recommend this property.

From the reviews I was honestly expecting better. There was a mechanical issue with the heat- the room was cold and no matter how high I adjusted the heat the room stayed the same temperature. When we flushed the toilet the water took a while to work for the sink and shower. One time the water didn’t work for at least 15 minutes after the toilet was flushed. Also, the bathroom light flickered like a strobe light, so we couldn’t use it. Positives: The breakfast and friendly staff

We stay at this property often. We go to Charleston to visit my daughter, grandchildren and son-in-law. We always stay here. The people that work here are amazing. They have a new manager who is super nice! This particular visit we had a family emergency. She was so accommodating and nice.. We always enjoy our stay here.
