You`ll find fast Wi-Fi, a work desk, washer/dryer, and plenty of off-street parking for the group. Best of all, you`re 10 minutes from downtown Charleston and 15 from the beach. Soak up the city, hit the sand, then come home to your pine-shaded retreat.

Tucked under towering Ocean Pines, this bungalow feels like a private tropical retreat while keeping you right in the middle of it all.

You`re minutes from the marsh and the ocean, the Avondale food and nightlife scene, the Angel Oak, King Street and downtown, Folly Beach, James Island, and West Ashley shopping.

The ranch-style home added a roomy 750-square-foot bedroom with en-suite bath in 2016, plus a 500-plus-square-foot screened porch made for slow Charleston mornings and lazy evenings.

Awesome spot for groups!

Came to Charleston for an eleven person bachelor party, Taylor was an excellent host who was super responsive and made sure we were taken care of and comfortable! The Tropic is a great spot to stay at and I wish I could give it 6 stars! Awesome if you're looking to get to Charleston with a few friends or a group of people!
