Pleasant stay.

The pictures don’t properly translate into what you actually get. The Inn is extremely near the road and you hear all the traffic noise. Also, the first room they gave us, the mattress was horrible, but when I complained, they quickly switched us to the room next door and that mattress was a lot better, but the road noise was still bad. They have rooms in the back, which I am sure are a lot quieter. The staff was very nice and breakfast was good, so as I said overall it was a pleasant stay.

Will visit again!

Conveniently located just a short walk from Quechee Gorge in one direction, a bar and grill next door, and a collection of shops that include a brewery taproom, alpacas, antiques, candy shop, souvenir shop, and a distillery with indoor and outdoor seating a short walk in the other direction. The rooms are clean and functional. Nothing fancy. Everything has a purpose including the coffee maker ( not Keurig), microwave, mini fridge, and TV remote. If you're looking for a shower big enough to bathe a horse, this probably isn't what you need. But, I absolutely appreciated the basic tub/shower not directly facing a huge mirror, and the tubes of lotion, shampoo, and conditioner rather than the wall installations so common these days. I did not visit the breakfast bar. Not because it wasn't appealing, but because where I was going was providing breakfast. There are chairs behind the building in which to sit and regard the surrounding woods.

The service was outstanding! I stayed at the hotel because I had a back injury, and Chelsea at the front desk provided me a room on the first floor and offered to get me ice and help me out however she could. The facilities were clean and well appointed. It's a nice place to stay and there is a dinner option next door.

We absolutely loved the staff. They were incredibly nice and presentable. The only thing I wish I could have different would be to have a more private bathroom door, instead of barn style doors. If you are staying with your family it's fine, otherwise could be an issue.
