Wonderful old quintessential hotel. Lots of character.
Pleasant place to stay. This is a historic hotel with an ancient elevator. We liked the floral wallpaper and excellent firm mattress. Note there is no breakfast, but vouchers are provided for restaurant next door.

Liked the history and character. Was very noisy -- people walking around above us, could hear every creak of the floor, people talking, dogs barking -- even with ear plugs in! Also very close to bars with live music (though that did end by 10pm) Nowhere close/walking distance to eat breakfast on Sunday before 10am. Might be a good place to stay mid week! Or on the weekend if you like to stay up late and sleep in!

Liked: Historic brick building, supporting local business, friendly staff Disliked: Conditions of building and room. Elevator with over year expired conditional permit. Plug in space heater for my room. Extremely dated/not practical (shower head was shorter than me in a plastic shower.)bathroom amenities and decor. Water stained/damaged ceilings, walls. I checked in, looked around my room, and walked out and for elsewhere to stay.

What a great old hotel! We loved our room! It was a queen in one room separated by a bathroom and then 2 doubles and a pull out couch. It was absolutely perfect for our family! The queen room had a separate toilet and sink bathroom. We loved the charm, but parking stunk! We had to park across the road in a parking lot. No breakfast bc of covid, but vouchers to a local restaurant a few businesses away.
We arrived a little after 3pm not realizing check in was at 4pm. The receptionist was frazzled and not very welcoming. It was awkward at best. Then I came down for a k cup coffee which had been offered at check in. The coffee maker was out of water. When I asked for assistance once again she was frazzled and reminded me check wasn’t until 4pm. 4pm seems a little late for checking into a hotel.
Friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast cafe. Clean and welcoming rooms in a very historic setting. Truly a charming throwback in time. We will be back!
Clean, spacious and comfortable with a unique 1940’s feel. Hotel Coolidge honors its historic roots through its interior design and furniture from an earlier time. Be ready to see old fashioned radiators, telephones, elevators and more. The layout is spacious and inviting and the rooms are sparkling clean. We enjoyed sitting in the lobby watching the flowers out front being lovingly tended to. The staff were friendly and helpful. This historic hotel is a gem and staying there was a treat. We’ll be back for sure.
Nice people! Quite eager to engage in good, honest suggestions about the area.
We booked an adjoined room for us and our 3 kids for a very reasonable rate. The hotel was cozy, home-like and warm. I liked the wood fireplace in the lobby, and there were sitting areas on each floor near the staircase, which was nice. The rooms were spacious and very clean. But it was all pretty old, like shabby minus the "chic." This was perfect for us just wanting a place to crash with 3 young boys, but if you're looking for an upscale feel, this might not be your place.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. During my week long stay, Judith at the front desk would say hello to me by name and sincerely ask how I was doing. It was a great comfort to know that I wasnt just another guest.
Great location! didn't care for the uncomfortable, noisy bed and loud neighbors.

Thanks for the 5 out of 5 review! We are so glad that you liked that big suite--it is one of my favorites too. Come stay with us again!

Thanks for giving us this detailed feedback about your check-in. It is unfortunate that our Front Desk clerk was not more welcoming; this will be addressed with her. I hope your future travels are more pleasant.
