My primary problem with this property was my intended stay was to include my 7-year-old mixed breed companion to do lots of winter hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. I was led to believe based on my reading of the information provided was that there were onsite trails available and that cross-country skiing and snowshoeing were available at the Quechee Club about a mile and a half up the road. The access to the Quechee Club was emphasized. What was not made clear at all was that dogs were not allowed on the on site ski trails, nor were they allowed on walks around the Fairway's in the summertime. Also a workout facility and indoor pool was touted as available but nowhere was it mentioned that you had to pay 18 a day to access them. The property is on a mountain side and hence there is no easy way to exercise a dog without hiking up and down the mountain. This is not so easy when you are 72 years of age. Again this was not disclosed as part of a property description. Also the restaurant at the Quechee Club was rated only 2 out of 5 stars and not worth the trouble of going to.In short the availability of the Quechee Club to promote this property is pretty much irrelevant if you are looking to make use of the facilities as part of your package or with your pet.In fairness there were winter hiking trails called section 5 about a mile up the road in a different direction from the Quechee Club that were accessible to dogs. However none of this was clear from t
