The only good thing is the breakfast buffet. It includes mostly PH. dishes. We only ate the egg, fruit, and coffee. Small room. The walls are paper thin. Everyday there were kids yelling and screaming from 6 AM! The TV is dismally TINY! Literally the size of an A4 paper. The hotel is far from city center. It is surrounded by slums. Quite unsafe to walk around at night.
This hotel was disappointing. The rooms didn't have windows to the outside. The shower was full of mold. The photos are misleading. I ordered a room with what seemed to be a full size bed. When I got there it was a room with a child's bed. I asked to be moved which they obliged so I appreciate that. The new room was only a small step up. There was still mold in the shower but I was tired of fighting though so I just went with it. The internet is excruciatingly slow. The area also isn't the best. I wouldn't recommend a single female stay there. Finally it wasn't that much cheaper than other hotels in better areas.
This the second time I stay at Pier Cuatro hotel in Cebu. It is nice affordable hotel, clean, but still needs to improve the rooms. One thing that is working good for the hotel is the opening of Robinson Mall just across the street, and a 7/11 place is being constructed. It is good because it is near the piers
I enjoyed the service here. Breakfast is basic but filling. A fantastic new mall opened across the street. It has Buzz Cafe, which is a great draw. (I also stayed at the Bohol Bee Farm hotel.) I would stay here if you are looking for good service and don't mind taking a cab to get to more central areas.
