Wingate by Wyndham - Columbia Harbison

Construction Conundrum

There was renovations going on at the time of my stay. It was noisy and dust was everywhere. Took the elevator to my room and there was a pile of sheet rock scraps on the floor. Checked out the next day and it was still there. I believe that if there is major construction going on at least discount the price of the rooms. Also let it be known that work is being done that will affect your stay. If I knew beforehand I would have stayed elsewhere.

Hyatt Place Columbia/Downtown/The Vista

Hyatt at the Vistas

From check in to check out --- smiles , efficiency, and courteous staff. I've never seen so many smiles. Convenient to so much. Very walkable area. My only complaint would be the charge for parking. $12.00 per day for self park. Seems a little overboard when already paying $200 for a room.

Red Roof Inn Columbia East - Ft Jackson

basic graduation

location and price were good for basic training graduation. however, we learned that standard rooms have very few amenities. no microwave or fridge to name a few. We had to leave a day early and the staff said we would be refunded for 1 night but have yet to see it back in our account

Baymont Inn and Suites Columbia Northwest

Decent hotel

Clean rooms and pretty nice amenities, especially the spacious fitness room with a variety of equipment. My one real complaint was that the HVAC unit in the room made an annoying clicking noise that kept me up most of the night.
