Called hours before reservation to let them know I was checking in late due to my sons graduation from basic training and that I needed two beds instead of one. She was friendly assured me I was good to and the change was not a problem. Got to hotel around 9 pm paid got keys and was given the wrong room. Went back downstairs and she remembered me calling but stated she had given my room away. Told her that would not work for me and I would need to find another hotel. She was to reverse the charge to my card, that was Wednesday and today is Saturday still full charge of hotel on my card.
There was construction going on.
I like that the hotel was quiet and not to far from shopping stores.

first room had a problem, they upgraded me immediately to a suite. hotel is in process of upgrading, but shared areas and room I stayed in were nicely renovated. staff very friendly.
I did not like the fact that i was told that a maintenance worker would be called to take the a portion of the front desk to locate my license that fell during checkout. Later i was told that nobody was coming and i had to deal w the loss of my license on my own. This made my trip home very hard, esp during security at the airport

The staff was pretty awesome. You can see the place is revamping, and it is coming out beautifully! Maybe it was the room I got, but it had no mini fridge or microwave. I didn’t look for that amenity when I booked, I just assumed. So that might be on me. No super loud noises. Felt pretty safe with my kids. I have all intentions of staying here when I come back to SC. I look forward to seeing how this place is in 3 months.

First day we had breakfast, there was a hotel staff at the lounge and though there was not a whole lot of food, we got lucky for going early. The next day we went to breakfast at 6:30am (breakfast opened at 6am), there was no coffee cups, no juice cups, no hot foods, and no staff at the lounge to replenish or request assistance. Other than that, the hotel was pleasant to stay at and it was well kept clean.
