The property location is excellent, lot of fun activity places have easy access from this hotel. Hope they have better breakfast items. Also have better bed with good pillows.
First comment is that the staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. I was very dissapointed that " for a university town? that the TV channels did not include the SEC network or ACC Network. I was also dissapointed that the room did not have any glasses, cups or a small coffee pot. But my main issue was that my one night stay .confirmation #72178540314272 was $290 through Orbitze. But my Debit card was charge $332..99. I was told this would be corrected at check out but evidently it was not, It was a very big expense to attend a furneral . I would like the difference reimbursed.
I didn’t like that the fan continuously ran and that function could not be disabled. So the room was very loud and annoying.
Tru hotel charged me $96 when I already paid Orbitz $94 prior to coming to the hotel. When calling the hotel, they told me I had to called Orbitz and now it’s a waiting game. It’s been almost a week since my charge. Orbitz called them and they said to call the manager to request a refund. Still waiting…. Very unhappy with being double charged & no immediately refund. Will not go back. Also the view is terrible. You wake up to a bunch of work trucks & dirt, noise.
This is a new clean hotel. Not fancy but very good for a short stay. Modern aesthetic and location is good but not great - close to downtown (5 min drive) but not walkable.
Should’ve known better than to stay here. My truck has its window busted out in the middle of the night and robbed. Seems like it happened a lot seeing as the policeman we spoke with knew all the angles of the video cameras (and that they’re facing down, not at the parking lot). Was also kept up by a couple screaming at each other and slamming the door from 12-12:45am, which was scary and didn’t make the morning any easier. The rooms were basic and clean, other than the faint smell of cigarettes. The staff were nice.
I loved staying here. The hotel is very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were awesome and helpful through the check in/out process.
