The staff here is great. The room was really comfortable with an extraordinarily nice bed. The breakfasts were simple but good. The pools were fine, small, but that was expected at a small boutique hotel. The location is fantastic.

Upper House has a sweet, eclectic vibe. It’s right in the walled city, but down a quiet street which was awesome! I loved the small feel of this place and it was fun getting to chat with other travelers around the breakfast table each morning. I was in the basic room, and even thought it was small the super tall ceilings made it feel roomy. And the bed was so comfy! All of the staff were helpful and friendly. I would absolutely stay here again!

The property was recently renovated. It looks absolutely beautiful. The pool area is very nice beautiful lounges very nice area. Perfect for families to stay perfect for honeymooners. Area surrounding it is very walkable very nice.

Bfast is advertised as intercontinental but, missing sugar or splenda, milk, the included offered breakfast is not worth it at. Other than that is ok for a few days.

The property and staff were fantastic. The only reason for a 4 star on the property condition is that they were presently doing some maintenance on the property but that didn't get in our way. The staff was excellent and friendly, gave us tips on where to go and provided a laundry service for us. The breakfast was great. I would definitely stay there again.

It's a gem in the walled city, walkable to all attractions and activities, yet in a very quiet setting. Rooftop swimming pool with jacuzzi and sunbathing area was excellent.

It's a small boutique hotel right in the heart of the Historic Center, within walking distance of everything. The room was very clean, and the staff cleaned it every day if you left the key. The staff was very attentive to guests' needs. Breakfast was basic with three options. The hotel has two pools, one on the roof with a jacuzzi, but this one is a bit dangerous because there's no way to get in except by entering through the pool itself or walking along a very narrow edge. The only downside was the Wi-Fi; it wasn't very stable in our room, and we had to go out to the lobby to connect, we believe as it is an old house the walls are too thick, but we were happy and would come back to the same hotel, thanks Guys!

Pros! Dining everywhere. Safe walking around at night. Property had two pools and a large jacuzzi pool on the rooftop. Very attentive on supplied wonderful breakfast. Con's! Stairs felt unsafe every time I walked on them..

Incredible stay, location, staff etc

A really lovely stay here. The rooftop pool is wonderful and private away from the rooms. There’s no time restriction on when you can be there so it’s lovely to have a night swim if you like or early morning swim. Location is INCREDIBLE and so perfect for getting everywhere. It’s an intimate yet lovely vibe, with breakfast included being the best arepas we have had on our trip. The staff were like friends- letting us watch how to make arepas with the chef and talking us through how to have them in traditional ways. Overall such a good stay and a huge highlight. Thank you!!

Hard to find on the street. No signage. It’s Nice. Clean. Great bed and sheets. Love the L’Occitane toiletries. TV did not work. Breakfast was just basic toast and egg. Pool on rooftop was dirty and swarmed with birds using it as their pool. If you’re coming back to Upper House after a night of partying, it’s hard to enter the place, they don’t wake up to open the door right away. Nice and helpful staff.
