The resort was clean. The staff wouldn't serve me because I spoke English. They waited for the person that spoke English to serve me, even when I ordered in Spanish. You couldn't walk out of the resort without being harassed by people trying to sell you stuff. I was physically assaulted by someone trying to give me a massage. I booked an excursion through the hotel that was supposed to be an all day all inclusive that I ended up paying triple for and the hotel and travel group told me they provided the experience they said I paid for. The bar staff was nice, but I'll never stay here again. I wish I could get my money back for the whole trip.

Horrible plumbing - had to flush the bathroom like 8 times each time before it worked. Facilities are older. I upgraded my room since I was not happy with the condition in my room.

Place is nice. Service is TERRIBLE! They need to learn customer service. The property is very nice.

Clean, friendly staff, good service!!!!! We’ll back❤️

Nice place and clean. The staff are very friendly.

I liked the hotel overall. However there were no dressers to put clothes away. The pool is a bit outdated but nice enough. There are no steps leading into the pool itself so that was a turnoff. Other than that everything else was great. The service was great. The concierge, Raphael, was great!

You can find better hotels in the area for the same price. I paid over $100 USD per night and the room that was given to us was properly worth $50 per night. They charged us for printing flight boarding passes :( The pool is very small. It is close to a lot of good restaurants. If you want to relax on the beach, just stay home because you can't rest without someone coming up to you trying to sell you food and cheap plastic stuff.

The location was perfect to get around, and only a few minutes from the walled city of Cartagena.

The hotel is great and just a block away fron the beach. Friendly staff. Somewhat overpriced in liquors. Maybe it requires some maintenance in few areas.

We had a wonderful one week stay at Hotel Almirante. Twice we ate in the restaurant, the food was excellent. The pool was clean and well-maintained. Every employee we came into contact with was professional and accommodating. The location was great although the local beach was a bit disappointing.

Great breakfast, excellent bar with karaoke and great singer. spectacular views from the suite, great sunset. Close to restaurants, malls and "ciudad amurallada". I recommended to stay in this hotel.

The hotel itself, the breakfast, facilities and rooms are ok. Not 4 stars you expect in most international hotels. But its worth what you pay for. Dont expect them to make restaurant reservations for you in Cartagena. Simply no follow through. Also, book your own transportation to/from airport. This was very disappointing at 4am on your departure day. Other than that, the hotel is close to everything in Bocagrande, shopping, restaurants etc. The room walls are thin, so do expect to hear people coming/going at 2am, or screaming kids in the hallways. Wi-fi stood up to video-conferencing, so I will give them that. The breakfast was also the same everyday but tasty. I would stay my satisfaction was met for what i paid.

It was a great experience. The staff in the hotel were very helpful and we enjoyed the city itself.

This hotel is across the street from the beach. There are also many clothing stores and shops near by. The restaurants on site are very good, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location of this hotel is great with the beach just across the street and plenty of restaurants nearby. The rooms are large but have limited amenities such as a lack of USB outlets or in room coffee machines. What really disliked aboutbthis hotel was the exhorberent fee they charge for bringing a guest back to your room day or night. This is the main reason i will never stay here again. This fee of 150,000 pesoels per visit or $50.00 added hundreds of dollars to my 2 weeks stay. In my opinion thiis is a cash grab and totally unjustified. If you are a single guy you may want to stay somewhere else.
