We stayed at this hotel for a weekend for the second time to visit family and friends The hotel was lovely, rooms very clean and spacious, with good food, and good accommodation. There is also plenty of car parking. Very easy to get into Cardiff via public transport, a short bus ride. The bus stop is only 5 minutes from the hotel. The staff were lovely, and all in all we had a great stay. There is a gym and fitness centre but no pool. We intend to return to Cardiff again in September 18 and will certainly use this hotel. Great accommodation for the money.

We stayed here whilst watching the Six Nations. We didn’t pay too much of a premium considering the rugby was on, however from the pictures we were expecting the room to be a bit nicer. Very basic with a hard bed, but served its purpose.

Stayed here whilst working at the hospital over the weekend. After coming back in the evening i asked for a blanket as id been cold the night before which i was refused. i asked for a taxi booking for which again i was refused. As i was starting work early i was told i could have a takeaway breakfast, this was a bag of crisps! a croissant and a apple. My bed was two pushed togther so wasnt comfortable and my quilt looked like it had something hiding in it as all the filling had clumped together, i have photos. Not happy with my stay at all so will book into somewhere else in future. The only good thing about my stay was the shower.

Close to A48 with easy access to Cardiff Bay and city centre. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean rooms with all that is needed including a lovely large bath towel. Only comment is that decaf coffee is instant! However, their gluten free tart was delicious. Would have liked local bottled beers available in the bar.

We used this hotel for the Rugby, it was the cheapest for two nights over the match day. Perfect location if you want quiet, easy to get into the town centre via bus. I used an app (Moovit) which told you what busses to get. Positives; very clean, friendly staff, amazing shower (you have no choice but to get your hair wet girls) negatives: the price we paid was a lot more due to match day - I don’t agree with hotels that do this. The walls are quite thin.. we had some noisy rabbits next door which wasn’t pleasant but not the hotels fault. We didn’t have any food at the hotel so can not comment on this. If I came back to Cardiff I would use this hotel again. Also came with free parking

My first visit to Cardiff for a short weekend and we stayed here for new years this year. Its close to the city centre but also its also not too close that its too loud and noisy. Perfect cosy getaway and it was good value for our money.

A brief overnight stopover. The staff were all friendly and helpful, particularly at breakfast. The room was basic and in need of a little tlc. But a good location, decent sized room, everything worked and a fair price for the three of us including breakfast and free parking.

Out of town hotel with a simple, cheap and quick bus ride into Cardiff. Nice rooms with all the usual amenities in a 3 star hotel. Bar and lounge area, if required. Excellent breakfasts. Plenty of car parking which is free for guests. Walking distance to a Harvester restaurant.

I stayed here on business and held an event for two days. I was on the third floor and on the first night got complimentary Welsh cakes. And on the second I got a welsh real ale. The staff are excellent. The event went really well and it was thanks to the staff for managing it. Food in the restaurant is really nice, I opted for the buffet and food was excellent for the value. It's about 4 miles from the centre so in a taxi it's about 15 to 20 pound. I had a really lovely stay here and would highly recommend

I booked a Valentines weekend stay away through Hotels.com £90 in a king room for 2 nights for 2 people. I have to admit I was a little sceptical, how can something that cheap actually be good? I was proven wrong, there is a large free carpark and check in was easy and the lady very efficient. The bed was extremely comfy and the room had all the basic things you'd need and it was clean. The overhead shower was super powerful (Just that you couldn't have a shower without washing your hair.) Would definitely return if I was in the area and would definitely recommend to others. Of course don't expect it to be the Ritz, but it is great for the price you pay.
