Well checking out was fantastic and the most pleasant bit of the stay! Being on Rugby tour we are used to rough and ready places that we tend to stay at! Breakfast was at best unacceptable, the bacon I doubt even saw the heat of an oven, floppy, fatty and nearly luminous in colour! Knowing nothing could go wrong with a hotel bar after a hard days Rugby we at least had that to look forward to! Wrong!!!! £5.25 for surger cans of Guinness which was warm at best! White wine that I suggest they use to strip the paint pre refurbishment that is desperately needed! Terribly disappointed taking into account even that this is a budget hotel! Never again!!!!

I returned from Park Inn by Radisson Cardiff North three days ago and feel I must send feedback regarding the hotel. We booked for three nights through Our first impression was positive: friendly staff, clean reception and third floor room. However, on closer inspection, we noticed that our duvet was lumpy with the stuffing having gathered in various places leaving nothing but the cover in other places. During the entire night, there was a loud noise every fifteen minutes from the heating system. The next morning we asked for a change of room. The next room also had a poor quality duvet and a window which did not close so we did not accept it. The third room (second floor) had the kind of duvet we would expect. During the following two nights, however, there was still a constant knocking sound and the sound of water in the air conditioning system. The reception staff informed us that they were aware of the noise problems with the heating/ventilation. If that is the case, why are they still charging full price for the rooms? The noise and disruption spoilt our weekend break. I have sent an email with the above feedback to the hotel via their website, but so far I have had no response. As the hotelgift card was given to me following serious illness, I was looking forward to a restful break. This did not happen. We had three nights of very little sleep.

Supper smellie room, full of BT Open reach workers, on busy road and out of town. Buffett style dinner until 6:45 then a la cart menu. Room is very tiered, stuffing in the the duvet is patchy (looks 100 yrs old) and food horrid.

Stayed here for one night as part of the organized tour. Was a bit disappointed. The location isn’t central at all. The nearest restaurant takes 15 minutes of walk and that’s the only restaurant within walking distance. Otherwise you’d have to take a bus to the city which takes about 15 minutes. Maybe most guests travel by car. The room isn’t that clean. Let me be specific. Beds and floor seem clean. But when you look at the kettle and other furniture it’s full of dust. I was wondering where the dust block on the sink came from. When I looked up I realized it came from the exhaust fan. Staff are good. The building is dingy and ugly although that doesn’t bother me. It’s the content inside that matters. But yet again I don’t understand why it gets such positive reviews on TripAdvisor. Maybe it’s a hit or miss?

Would not be easy to find without a sat nav. Clean spacious room fully tiled shower room. Tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast ok disappointed about the fruit salad after the first day it became apple salad . The croissants did not seem fresh every day. The breakfast put you up for the day. Had an evening meal in the restaurant good food and averaged priced. Helpful friendly staff would stay again .

This is my second stay at Park Inn. My first stay was exceptional, however this time I was way down the corridor and my room wasn't quite as comfortable as my first stay, room a little cooler and no hairdryer. Staff are always excellent and friendly, the hotel serves a delicious breakfast with lots of choice. I will be staying here again on my next visit to Cardiff.

Visited to tie in with a trip to Cardiff City Football Ground. Hotel very close to major routes literally 1 minute. 10 minute ride by taxi into city centre costing £10-£12. Very quick check in and good sized room. Clean comfortable bed and adequate shower ensuite with ample shelf space for both of our toiletries. Good pressure in the shower. Bar prices slightly overpriced but not off putting. Good range of bar snacks. Breakfast cost us an additional £7.50pp on our deal. Both continental and full English breakfasts available for this price. Eggs cooked to order. Very good selection. Hot. Restocked regularly. Recommended as a good stay

Well placed hotel for visiting Cardiff Met' University, which is just around the corner. Warm welcome from reception staff, very helpful ordering taxi for us into Cardiff centre. Rooms & bathroom good standard, plentiful breakfast.

The room is good size, nice and quiet. However, bathroom has black mould on the wall and ceiling, dirty bedroom carpet. Plenty of choices for the breakfast again the plates and cups are dirty; food quality are good.

Booked room one week before, upon arrival they told me that the restaurant was closed due to a tour booking. Only food was from the bar, where there was no room to sit, so I ordered room service. It arrived within 20 minutes, yet the chicken wings were like warm, the dessert was incorrect and there were no condiments with the fries. They also asked for a £3 tray charge! I will be complaining in the morning as its my poorest experience in a hotel ever. It's a good job that I bought some drinks and snacks from the marks at Cardiff Central! Room is okay with limited lighting. Bathroom nice. Hotel needs redecorating/updating as it's looking old.
