Staff were wonderful. Very nice room and hotel inside was clean and proper. Bar closed before 11pm though, no dining or snacks evident and the area around is commercial

Lovely room and size, pool facilities was average at an additional £10 per person, which was okay but wasn’t informed there was swimming lessons going on when we went, television in the room didn’t work and when telling reception, they asked for room number to have a look but never came, and room was very very cold even with the thermostat on 30 degrees.

Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. They went the extra mile to make my partner’s birthday special by leaving a bottle of Prosecco and a card signed by them. Definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family. Unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use the spa.

The hotel was booked particularly for the spa and swimming pool as advertised on the listing. Somewhat disappointing that it was not made obvious that there is a £10 per person per visit charge!!

Room large, and clean. Flooring abit grubby but didn’t concern me. Hotel nice clean. Wasn’t aware there was a wedding/party on until very late. So it was very loud until gone midnight/130am. Kept waking to lots of noise. However, myself and friend for a child free get away did enjoy our stay. We would stay again and try the spa next time. Rooms were alittle warm but had air con/blower as windows couldn’t be opened.

Holland House Hotel much recommended!

Very kind and helpful staff. I particularly value the swimming pool, as I can get in and out of it on the gradual steps OK (currently I have mobility problems).

Everything about this stay was about extra charges - expensive parking, pay to swim in the pool, pay for having a dog - isn’t was £80 on top of the room rate making it expensive for an extra night. Would have been better value elsewhere. Good clean shower & nice bathroom. Pillow ok. No opening windows, noisy and not the right side of the city. Unfriendly staff. If you park outside you have to set an alarm to wake at 7am even on a Sunday to love you car or extend the charge as it runs out at 7am. No parking was available in the hotel car park which is outrageous costs anyway. All in all an ok stay but really stung with all the extras.
