We Loved our weekend at Goss Hall. Maggie was such a welcoming and friendly host, striking just the right balance between making sure we had everything we needed (which included meeting the chickens!!!) and leaving us to enjoy our time. Goss hall is a beautiful house in stunning grounds, the location is so tranquil (accessed down a country lane and lovely long drive) yet only a few minutes drive to the medieval town of Sandwich, and with many seaside towns within a half hour drive including Deal and Broadstairs, and of course the lovely city of Canterbury also close by there is plenty to do for everyone. Our room was Carolina. A stunning room overlooking the gardens and fields to the front. The room is very spacious and kitted out beautifully - a huge wooden wardrobe, dressing table, separate tea station (fresh milk available) and bedside tables. The bed was very comfy with memory foam topper. There is a lovely sofa at the end of the bed and window seat, we really couldn't have asked for anything else. The only downside is that the bathroom is not ensuite, there is a private bathroom across the hall. Bathrobes are provided and we didn't bump into anyone else. I would normally prefer an ensuite but for the benefit of such a beautiful bedroom it wasn't a problem. The bathroom is also huge with large walk in shower, separate bath and vanity unit. Now to breakfast - a nice selection of cereals, yogurt, parties and juice etc. to start. You can then order from a hot menu to include traditional hot breakfast, smoked salmon, omelettes and porridge. Everything was tasty and service was quick. All in all we had a fabulous weekend and would love to return. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Goss Hall to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend in the country with fabulous hosts.

Wow - a huge thank you to Maggie & Stacey for letting us book out the whole of Goss Hall last weekend! Last Saturday was my wedding day. As you can imagine, in the build up to the big day, my (now!) wife and I had a lot on and so we asked a lot of questions of Maggie & Stacey before arriving - they were answered respectfully and patiently. A very warm arrival & tour round from Maggie on Friday lunchtime, this property is absolutely beautiful. Our wedding parties enjoyed the rooms, the amenities and the stunning grounds / location of Goss Hall. I would love to return again and if you are looking for a beautiful place to stay as a large group of friends/family in the area, this should be top of your list! Thanks again Maggie & Stacey

Beautiful little property hosted by the very warm and accommodating Maggie. The room was large and well set up, No desk per-sai for anyone who is doing a work thing, but there is a dressing table in a pinch. We enjoyed the location and the proximity to both Sandwich and Canterbury. Very clean and a nice breakfast offered, the hot parts prepared al la carte so it was very fresh! Would definitely go back.

Goss Hall is set in beautiful grounds with a stream, small lake and plenty of trees - ideal for relaxing or watching the local wildlife. It is convenient for all of the major Kent attractions (we went to Dover Castle, Dungeness and Ightham Mote). This is a very welcoming, outstandingly maintained B&B which keeps to extremely high standards. Plenty of parking. There is a pleasant breakfast room and the food is imaginatively served from quality ingredients in a friendly environment; it is really good to get away from the half-cold buffet English fry-up of most hotels to something a touch more interesting. The Kent coast is accessible North, South and East within a reasonable driving time. As good as it gets, really. Ideal for singles, couples, small groups of friends who want a quiet time in fine surroundings with interesting locations nearby

We arrived on a wet rainy Monday morning and were met by Maggie which was a charming, happy welcoming person. The room was spacious and clean. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean with very nice utilities. There is lovely river with beautiful garden and peaceful scenes. If you want peace and relaxation this is a great place to retreat. The breakfast was an presented in a very inspired and well thought out presentation and tasted fantastic. The crossiant tasted fresh and all the strawberry and berry fruits were sweet. This is a place to be proud of..

We have Just spent an excellent 2 night stay in this wonderful B&B. Our accommodation was in the granary, which was a wonderful spacious bright and airy room. Breakfast was in the main house, plenty of choice for either a continental or a cooked breakfast. We would definitely recommend Goss Hall from the warm welcome when we arrived to the goodbye at the end of our stay every thing was perfect and will be visiting again.

Only had the opportunity to stay for one night as we had a wedding in the area, so we spent minimal time at Goss Hall. We received a real welcome when we arrive to change for the wedding and enjoyed a good breakfast on the following morning. Whenever we require accommodation in this part of Kent we will always make Goss Hall our first choice. Thanks Maggie.

Back at one of our favourite b&b’s this weekend. And, as usual a wonderful stay. The place just gives you no choice but to relax and of course Maggie’s service and attention to detail is as impeccable as ever. A must if you haven’t been!!

This is a nice bed and breakfast in a good location just outside Sandwich. Very peaceful setting and lovely spacious comfortable rooms. If there was a negative, I would say it is the breakfast. Whilst there is a menu, they don't offer a full english. It's scrambled eggs, poached eggs, Omlette, Breakfast bap, beans on toast etc. They do fruit, pastries, cereal etc as well but we stay at a lot of b and b's and this is the first one where a full english is not offered. Don't get me wrong, I'm not being critical - it's just an observation as the place itself is lovely. We just felt it was a bit odd especially as it says 'including full english' on their website. But overall, a nice stay and would recommend it.

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast accommodation. We stayed in the newly renovated Granary, which is beautiful done. This accommodation is convenient to explore the east coast of Kent or a, stop over for the continent. Maggie and her daughter provided an excellent breakfast and ensured the accommodation was clean and well presented.
