I’ve stayed 2017 and 2018 and planing to go back this year, the Staff is awesome they upgraded my room for free and the resort and the good and drink are great I give grand park royal Cancun 5 stars

Property is average, nothing unique. Have stayed at a different property before, it was more modern, newer furniture, nicer bathroom

Very well laid out, inside and out. Many different places to hang out and enjoy. Very clean and organized. Housekeeping was SUPER good. Excellent food at the buffet,as well as at the restaurants. Cafe Sole had excellent coffee. Would be nicer if it opened at five or six AM instead of at seven.

I didn't like it when you arrive they waste your time trying to convince you to go to one on there time share things. Wasted an hour and a half of my stay in the orientation of my arrival. But got a 4day free stay for going. You don't have to buy to get it just attend for 2hours. The hotel food was great and everyone is there to help 100 percent I had a blast so much I didn't want to leave. The spa message was the best I have ever had. And the Japanese restaurant was on point.

My family and I were there for five days over New Year’s and let me just say, the serving staff, every waiter, maid, or kitchen staff we encountered were phenomenal. Since this resort is part of a timeshare without fail you will encounter “sharks” or people trying to sell you or take you on so-called tours to sell membership or so they call it. Beware of this! Since we were there for a holiday every restaurant was decorated to the nines! On NYE the restaurant in the lobby we ate at had ice s, amazing food and live music, we were very impressed. That same night they also had live entertainment free to all the guests which was packed and very popular, a lot of fun for sure! A few of the plugs in our room and our outdoor light balcony didn’t work but because we were on excursions all day we didn’t really mind but the room was kept super tidy and clean thanks to housekeeping. Like I said other than the sharks this resort is fantastic and family friendly!

Good - location, not crowded, plenty of beach access, restaurants ambience, hardworking friendly staff, beach games and entertainment, and service. Really liked - beach front room and the view, service, pizza corner (pizza made fresh from scratch) and snack cafe. Bad - limited same menu at restaurants, average food, limited buffet, height restrictions at the restaurants, inconsistent cocktails ( either really sweet or lot of alcohol) at the pool bar (but ok at lounge and lobby bar) and night entertainment. If you are looking for spacious, quiet, clean and friendly staff and service, but ok with the average food and don’t care about nightly entertainment, this is the place to stay. You will be pleased.

Hotel location is fantastic and view from every room is amazing. Every staff seems to chair about to guess and provided amazing service. Food was okay. They definitely need to improve the quality of food at the buffet. One other thing, they have kids club but it's not much to it they can certainly improve that. On-site restaurant food was good. Overall we had a great experience and we would definitely go back again.

The property is beautifully placed and up kept very well, the staff was wonderful, Grand Park Royal met all my families expectations

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach was phenomenal and the pools very clean

I liked how the waiters were very nice and humble. I didn’t like that the concierge people are trying to sell so they say you will get a discount for the tours and at the end of the day it’s only 15% which is nothing. Also, we lasted almost 4 hours with this people and that’s a waist of time since your going on vacation and not to talk about business.
