Secondly floor room with ocean very was very nice. Room was clean and comfortable. The wind whistling through the sliding door frame was annoying at night. Cleaning staff were very polite and courteous. Restaurants, buffets and snack bars had plenty of selection. Food was fresh and enjoyable. Serving staff were very attentive and engaging. Evening entertainment was very good. The beach and ocean facing view was great but a few more beach chairs and cabanas would have been nice. Overall, very please for a first time experience.

We’ve been going to Grand Park Royal for 10 years. We enjoyed bringing our children and now we enjoy going as a couple. Staff is amazing and very friendly. Not a spring break party resort if that’s what you’re looking for. Only complaint would be that I wish the hot tub wasn’t always filled with young kids.

We loved our experience at this hotel. We stayed for 9 nights and the staff was amazing. Edgar at the cafe always greeted us with a smile and was super nice. We also had a butler named Alejandro and he was so helpful and great. The food selection was great at all the restaurants and Diana at the buffet area provided us great service. We will definitely be returning for an even longer stay.

This hotel is everything you’ll think it’ll be and more. The beach was steps away from our room, the pools were very nice and the adult pool was there if you wanted a more quieter relaxed experience away from the other kids. The food was mid but that’s what you usually expect from an all inclusive serving around 5000+ people at a time although that Italian restaurant was really good. Unfortunately the hot water did end up going in and out in our room but ended up fixing itself, the toilet got clogged and we called someone they came immediately to fix. I can say this hotel cares and takes care of their customers! I would love to come back and visit!

As a family of 4, with 2 teenagers, we had a great experience. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. Everyone at the hotel makes us feel very welcome and comfortable. A big THANK to our butler, Jorge. He was amazing and helped us with every need we had (restaurant and beach reservations, transportation, etc.). We recommend this hotel 100%. The size of this hotel was perfect for us (it was not huge, but it was not small either). The food was very good and fresh (perhaps not many options in the buffet restaurant, compared with some other hotels, but again, it was good). The a la carte restaurants, we enjoyed them all (but you need to be a little patient in some of them because the service might be a little slow).

We came to the resort and paid premium during holiday week to celebrate New Year and got absolutely no celebration. There was no communication about the event or need to make reservations. The hotel had our phone numbers and emails, but nothing about New Year was communicated. Upon checking into the hotel two days prior, we were told that the details of New Year party are still being worked out. There were no signs in the lobby, by the pool/beach, or other common areas. The event was held in a small ballroom, despite ample space on the beach and other spaces in the resort. We only found it after asking the concierge. The ballroom filled up quickly, and a huge number of guests were turned away due to lack of space. When the overflow guests went to the hotel bar to try and have their own celebration, staff refused to turn on music, and sent us back to the ballroom that was already full. Frustrated and left with no good choices, we decided to walk the beach, only to see numerous New Year celebrations at the neighboring resorts. When we complained about our experience to guest services the next day, all we got was a lukewarm apology. Also, this was by far the worst food selection and food quality in our 10+ years of attending various all inclusive resorts. We were so frustrated with the food, that we left the resort for dinner two of the evenings, and paid exorbitant prices at restaurants in the area. Lastly, we barely got any sleep all week due to a crying baby next door.

Amazing location. Large wide beach. Soft sand and chairs easy to access. Bars far when on beach however they provide service to beach. Restaurants are amazing. Great choices. Good quality. Service was excellent. Great views and rooms are well apportioned

We didn’t get the room we paid for. Restaurants were closed and reservations were needed on the first night at the restaurants but we weren’t told that. The food wasn’t very good at the buffet, which is the only place we had to eat during those times. We had no information about the resort in general. We weren’t even given information on the WiFi. It was specified airport transportation was included and then we had to pay for it. Only 3 restaurants and the buffet were included in the all inclusive and then they had restaurants closed for private events during the stay so our choices of places to eat were very limited.
