The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect!! The rooms are very basic, but comfortable and very clean. Air conditioner worked well and our room had a small refrigerator. We thought that most of the staff was unfriendly & not very helpful (except for the cleaning crew, which were all super nice). When we booked the room, it says that there are beach loungers for the hotel guests - which there are, however, there are many exceptions as to which ones you can use. You cannot reserve them, so it was difficult to get two loungers and once we did finally get them, they were so uncomfortable, we ended up going to a different beach club a couple places down. (which we had to pay for) We would have been OK with just sitting in regular chairs instead, but they would not allow us to even do that. It did not ruin our trip by any means, we still had a fantastic time, but the beach lounger situation could definitely use some improvement ;)

Ground level corner room is not ideal with all the workers that are stopping people all day every day. Good for people watching. We weren’t informed that beach chairs were provided for hotel guests. We paid for beach chairs every day, the last day when they told us that they were free for hotel guests. A cat brought a rat to the neighbours door, smelly and just removed and not cleaned up.

The view from the room is amazing, the bed is also comfortable but otherwise they lack in a number of ways that would greatly improve the place especially considering the almost $400/night room charge. No one ever cleaned our room or replenished waters or towels, the beds lack an actual comforter, there are no beach towels, there is a coffee pot but no cups, no coffee/creamer/sugar (even after requesting it multiple times), there are no bedside lights for reading, the air conditioner rattles, the shower is hot for maybe 3 minutes and the water from the bathroom smells like Sulphur. I will say the location for anyone wanting to be right on North Beach is great.

As far as the hotel goes, the room we were in was big, with two beds, a sofa, and a big deck. There are no lamps on the nightstands, not enough outlets, the tv didn't work, and no surfaces in the bathroom to put anything. They ran out of drinking water on the last two days of our stay, so plan ahead an get extra bottles for your room. My main issue is with the interface between the Hotels.com platform and the hotel's system. My reservation was for $2368. A charge was authorized to my card on 12/17/25 for $313. At check-in, the hotel charged me in pesos, which came to $2658USD. They assured me the $313 was just an authorization, which appears to be the case, now that I'm home and can check my account. After we had checked in, my daughter, who was on a different reservation, persisted, and they gave us all cash ($300 to me), so it all worked out. Obviously, this is not how I want to do business. I expect to be charged the amount I agreed to on the Hotels.com reservation. If they're going to do a pre-auth only, that needs to be made clear before arrival. This is the second time I've had an issue in Isla Mujeres with a Hotels.com/Expedia reservation, and it's the last time I'll be booking anything in Mexico on your platform.

Our room was spotlessly clean as usual and the cleaning staff was exceptional each day. We really appreciate beach chairs set out early each morning and staff ready to help adjust umbrellas and provide bar service or eats throughout the day. A class hotel on a beautiful beach!

We had a room on the ground floor, directly in front of the restaurant, we see the sea on the left of the restaurant, on the right and through the restaurant. For us it is the best room # 2 or 3. However we have to consider that it is more noisy because of the music of the restaurant, but it is the better situation and we are at the level of the sand which for us is the best. The room was OK though they put a bed pad plasticized which is very hot, noisy when you move and uncomfortable. But this hotel has the better situation on the north beach.

Room was fine. Could really use a ceiling fan a hair dryer and a beach towel would be nice. We would likely book there again. Great location and a little less than a 15 minute walk from the ferry.
