We really enjoyed our stay at Spicers Balfour, a world class boutique hotel. Only possible issues to mention are that since it is a converted personal residence the size of the rooms can be considered smallish by modern standards, however the key for me is the bathing area and the walk in shower was spacious. The other issue is price, however everything in Australia seems higher and at the end of the stay we felt we got good value for money. When I looked to rebook on our return however the per night price was near double what we had just paid. Two thumbs up for Alice in Reception!
