The room was very nice, and clean. contemporary in style and the usual size for Europe, a bit on the small size. But who spends anytime there anyway. They also had a great breakfast, a wide selection of foods, fruits, and beverages. We would stay there again.
The hotel was excellent. The beds are great, the room was large and the breakfast was perfect. The only point for improvement is the Gym. The gym room is good, but unfortunately, the equipment (spinning bike, rowing machine and crosstrainer) is very old and second-hand (probably). They should replace these machines with new ones.
Spend one night. Good location, nice lobby. Trainees should be checking in guests together with some supervisor support. It was extremely slow and many mistakes were done: the key didn't work, I didn't receve any information regarding the hotel facilities (at least breakfast hours), my name was mistyped, etc. My stay was also spoiled by rooms assignment: it was ...08 room close to housekeeping storage so instead of morning sleep I got wake up shouts and mess around next to my room. Hotel staff is not attentive to guers feedbacks: after arrival I used shower and water was going out very slowly. I made a comment to reception and asked them to fix it - nothing was done. Breakfast is ok - cutlery could be cleaned better.
I recently stayed at this hotel. I was travelling alone as single woman and this hotels staff were absolutely wonderful in assisting me in all I needed. From arranging for cabs, answering my questions at the frint desk, concierge requests everything was so professional and comforting to someone who was single and alone in a city for the first time
Excellent location. The hotel is located within easy reach to major sites. Hop-on hop-off bus, boat tours and public transport within easy reach. Shopping area and restaurants nearby. Comfortable place to stay, very clean, with extremely helpful and friendly staff!
The hotel's location is excellent, minutes from the main pedestrian street as well as from the Danube river boat ride docks. Its breakfast is also excellent, tasty, with a large selection and also very nicely presented. As for the room and service, that's a different matter...We arrived at the hotel past 1 PM, their advertised check-in time, and still our room was not ready. They offered us complimentary drinks while we waited for our room about 20 minutes, small consolation after having traveled all night. When we did get our room and unpacked, we then found out that the toilet flush was broken and could not be repaired on the spot...They had to move us to another room which was slightly smaller than the previous one and its windows faced a wall...When we complained, saying that in such unfortunate cases, one's room should be upgraded and not downgraded, they replied simply that they did not have any available room in our category (but what about a higher category??...). Instead of a better room, what we got was a letter of apology from the management, a complimentary fruit plate and a bottle of wine. They also asked us to settle our account one day before we were due to check out...Quite strange, as we would have settled our account the next morning anyway...
visit of the town ,Danube cruise,Godollocastle, sezcheny(thermal bath) Concert in St Stephan, visit in Buda, all is really beautiful and also very fine restaurants and Patisserie Gerbeaud and the New YORK café wonderful !!!!!
We stayed at the hotel for 6 days and we had a lovely experience! The hotel is just the right size (Not a small hotel with a couple of rooms and not one of the too huge ones), the staff was great and very helpful, the room was big and clean and breakfast was great (Not entirely european which is great!). The hotel is just a minute walk from vaci st. and close to lots of the things you want to go to when visiting the city. If you are planning a good stay in Budapest - this is a great start!
We got a great value for a last minute day-of booking here. For the location, the clean and newly renovated rooms, comfortable bed and really comfortable pillows, and friendly front desk staff I'd say we made a good call for our short stay in Budapest. Within walking distance of all major sites, restaurants, and bars. Short subway ride away from areas further out, such as the baths. Would recommend for the location and value.
A very friendly welcome awaits you at the Hotel Zenit. A central location allows you access to the most popular venues the city has to offer. My room was spacious, air-conditioned and very comfortable. Breakfast was not included in the original cost but was readily available at a reasonable cost.
