We had booked 4 rooms for 2 families for 2 nights which were close to each other. The staff was cordial and helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Its location close to river and tram station was very convenient . Though one of their lift is under repair did not face any hassles. Overall a good experience
Hotel Zenit Budapest Palace is a wonderful hotel, in a great location. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even remembered us when we left for the day and returned. I look forward to my next trip to Budapest and will definitely stay at this hotel again. The bakery next door is also very good. Great, great place!!
The hotel was a great value, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was complete and always delicious! Staff was very helpful, including tour tips and arrangements and facilitating getting laundry done. Close to the Danube and much evening cafe action.
We booked 2 rooms for my family for 3 nights in July 2017 for a family vacation. The rooms were a little cozy and seemed clean. Great location- near the Chain bridge, St. Stephens and all the happenings in Pest. The first night tried using the TV, not many channels available and remote didnt work. In the morning tried locking our belongings in the safe, it gave the message ERR. That first morning as I looked at the sheets I noticed blond hair (not my wifes) that kind of disgusted me, the thoughtthat we slept in sheets that were not changed from the previous guests. As we left, I communicated to the front desk my displeasure and asked that they change the sheets, fix the TV and safe. That night, we noticed the sheets were changed, but they opted to not provide a duvet cover to sleep with. Safe still did not work and TV and remote the same as before -obviously not addressed by maintenance. They also did not replenish any towels in my daughters room. They did bring the duvet cover and towels when I called the front desk. As we checked out, they did not ask how the stay was, but offered a 10% gift card for any Zenit hotel worldwide (given also to people in front of us) I did mention the lack of housekeeping when we arrived- the front desk person did say sorry about that. Obviously they did not do any extra in terms of customer service to remedy the problems they have, so needless to say I would not stay there the next time I am in Budapest, there are enough other hotels that would be willing to serve customers better
My friend and I ended up at this hotel having been scammed with an online "apartment" booking. Staff are friendly and courteous. The room was clean and modern. The location is perfect. The breakfast buffet was a good value. On a return to Budapest we would stay here again.
We stayed here in july 2017 and we couldn't have been luckier. Location is unbeatable. Very fine finishings. Very comfortable. Wish I could have stayed more days. Best value of all the hotels we stayed at during our Europe trip.
The hotel is exceptionally well-positioned for all the major attractions, the vibey river-front restaurants and the main shopping street. Tourist buses are easily accessible. And the portable WiFi was a winner.
We stayed for one night (as planned). The cost was €125.00 without breakfast. The hotel is very central and clean with nice modern, IKEA style decor. Fresh and minimalist with really good colour choices browns and creams mostly. Room was nice and airy with good wifi and high ceilings. Razor and tooth brush were a nice addition to the bathroom. Staff were polite and unobtrusive at check in. No problem staying there again.
Great service and such nice staff! You can choose a wide range food for breakfast. One of the best things is location, you are very close to all the monuments in the centre as well as public transport.
The hotel located in the center of Budapest. We got room in the highest floor which is the attic. Not convenient but it was ok for couple. The room was very clean and the room service was very good. The hotel was accordingly to my expectations and I already recommended it to other friends. It's good and worth the price.
