Uncomplicated budget hotel just 5 minutes taxi ride from Budapest Hungary airport. Taxi costs about 1700 Forints. Clean and friendly. Good shuttle service if you ring them from the airport. I've stayed there dozens of times, usually for just one night when arriving late or departing early.

I was on bussiness trip and this hotel was not a good option. I have moved on second day. I needed a hotel on airport and this was close (good for airport transfer), but you have to pay more to have this does not come with the basic room rate. There is one advantage I always like - there is sort of minibar a in the room which do not turn off, when you leave your room, because this hotel do not have a magnetic card. The room is spacious. But it looks more like barracks. On the other hand it is really bad...beds are from different century, small blankets so you cannot cover yourself properly during night, very slow wifi and I would not say that the breakfast is a breakfast...some old fruit, with old salami and cheese that you do not want to try. Juice is not replenished so still empty and dirty cutlery... it was funny to see other guests to go for a breakfast, see it and then go away...during my stay the machine for coffee was not working, so I took only yoghurt... you cannot live on yoghurt all the time :-) but because of the minibar on the room you can make your own breakfast. The sofa on the hall to the rooms is so dirty that I would not even try to sit on it... Well, it is cheap hostel, I would not given it 3 stars, but if you need to stay for one night and go, it is really good option. But for a longer stay I could not recommend.

Chose the hotel because we had an early morning flight. There were a lot of negatives unfortunately. There was a stink from the sewer through out as the common washroom was ajar. The same stink pervaded our room washroom also. The shower stall has no place for keeping our soap dish. There was no soap provided and the dispenser near the sink was empty. We travel with our own toileteries, so we made do. Washroom floor is pretty slippery. Main issue was that the owner refused to take part payment in forints. We have done so in many countries, exhausting the local currency. It was a major inconvenience as we were saddled with forints. For the airport drop off at 5 euros each, son needed a 5.30 am drop. The owner said it's 20 and 40 min past the hour. Actually it's a small setup, there was no need to insist on such timings. They anyway do individual dropoff. When I was about to announce my dropoff time, owner said, checkout is 11am. Pretty amazed as airport hotels , esp once like this one need not insist on such timings. Their clients will hardly come rushing in to occupy the rooms during the day. Anyway I left at 10.40am. My flight counter only opens at 11. All in all not a pleasant experience

Stayed one night for an early flight the next day. The room was, as others have said, very basic and a bit old, but clean. Shuttle to the airport does cost extra but worked well. Breakfast was decent and opened early enough that I could eat before going to the airport. The major issue, which wasn't really the hotel's fault, was that a large group of teenagers were yelling, slamming doors and running between rooms across the hall late into the night. I complained to the front desk gentleman, who was very nice and apologetic, but there wasn't much he could do I guess. Still, it made sleep more than a little challenging. The location is rather desolate so I wouldn't stay here for more than sleeping before an early flight.

The hotel is located just 5 minutes from the airport but hard to reach by public transport. Hotel and room condition was acceptable but not really good,. There was a broken shower curtain and a hole in the bed sheet. Remote controls for the TV are stored at the reception (?). Breakfast starts already at 4am and was extensive. Airport shuttle for 5€ p.p. every 20 minutes was very good.

When we entered the hotel, four men in the lobby looked weirdly at us, acting creepy and laughing. Fungus in bathroom and very, very hot room with no aircondition. Such a high humidity. We found a dead beetle on the floor upon arrival. The hotel did NOT tale credit card, so we had to walk or take a taxi to an atm in the middle of the night. We ended up checking out early sleeping in the airport instead - even aften having payed.

The hotel is very close to the Airport and the hotel has airport shuttle which is very convenient. The hotel is OK, nothing special. Has everything what is needed for a short stay. OK selection of food for breakfast which they serve from 4 or 5 am. Overall, it is OK and convenient for a one-night stay to catch an early flight on the following morning. The closest restaurant is approximately 600 m away.

Great transfer hotel. I only stayed here over night to catch an early morning flight. It's 10 minutes drive from the airport. Rooms are nice and clean. They offer breakfast, nothing special but great since it's included in price. Great thing is they serve breakfast from 4 am until 10 am, so you can catch it no matter how early your flight is. They offer transport to airport for 6 euros, which is the same what I paid for the airport taxi.

We arrived very late at night and the person at the desk gave us our room very quick and told us we can sort out payment in the morning. Initially we were given the wrong room, but when I went out to ask he moved us into the right room. The room was a little old fashioned and basic, but non the less clean and warm. The bed was a little hard for my taste, but not so bad I couldn't sleep. The breakfast was good a choice of cold meats, bread, yoghurt, coffee etc. We checked out the next morning and headed into Budapest. All around they provided a good service for a very reasonable price. There Beer is also Cheap! 👍

What else you can ask more than Breakfast at 4am if you have a early flight to take? Only a great Breakfast! And that is what Hotel Ferihegy delivers (it was ready at 3:30am!) The place is not fancy, right price, location for a connecting flight. Don't pay more when you can much more for less!
