Terrible experience! l woke up at night all itchy but only in the morning l found bedbugs bites on my body, spotted a big one crawling, took a video and show it to the reception. They asked me to send it to the hotel managed but l never got any reply, really outrageous!

The hotel is really run down and not the cleanest. Apparently the owners are planning a reno so no proper caretaking. Wish hotels.com would let you know before you booked. This has happened to me before. However great location and really nice front desk staff

The staff was helpful. The room had beenncleaned. However, there was from time to time quite an unpleasant smell. I think it depends on some defects in the sewage system of the palace, nothing to do with cleaning. Maybe in future renovations it would be an idea to remove the carpet floor. The stay was pleasant, all considered. The bed was comfortable, the position fabulous.

Walking distance to pretty much everything in Brugge town. Good for a 3 star. Nice rooms. Clean. Only issue was elevator smelt.

Most parking around here is underground so no good for a van but l managed to find a pay and display spot nearby. Hotels.com could up its game by categorising parking to include vans as it is frustrating to be told there is parking but not for vans. Please add van parking to your algorithm.

Hotel is in need of some updates and lacked some basic amenities (fridge). Breakfast showed as included but staff said we’d need to pay (€15). Location is great, parking is easy and its close to many dining options. About a 10-15 minute walk to the main square.

The hotel is in a really good location,I had a really nice attic room to myself on the 4th floor,the staircase up was a little steep so wouldn’t recommend if struggle with mobility. The bed was really comfy,I had a lovely bath,TV was huge and it was safe and quiet. There was a few furnishings that needed some small repair just mainly cosmetic things,but I wasn’t too bothered as the price and location was really good. Staff were very nice and helpful The only issue was that on the second night there was a concert on for students outside the hotel that went on until 1am and was really loud and noisy so did not sleep,this obviously was no fault of the hotel but if had known in advance could have got some ear plugs,other than that was a very pleasant stay,thankyou Would stay again if visiting Bruges.

The hotel has a lot of potential but is in desperate need of refurbishment. Unfortunately, the curtains and carpets in the room were stained, and there was a very unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom. The balcony was also littered with cigarette butts left behind by previous guests, which gave the impression that it hadn’t been properly cleaned. On the positive side, the room itself was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The location is ideal — everything we needed was within a 10-minute walk, which was perfect for us as we don’t drive. I would also like to mention the receptionist, who was absolutely lovely, always pleasant, and happy to greet us throughout our stay. To be completely honest, if I had been staying in Bruges for longer than a couple of days, I would have looked for another hotel, as the smell in the bathroom was quite off-putting. However, considering the reasonable price and overall comfort of the room, it was manageable for a short stay. Bruges is a beautiful city, and the people were hospitable - I would definitely recommend everyone should come at least once in a lifetime!
