After five nights in Paris our two nights here were very relaxing. The hotel, right around the corner from the Dukes Palace, is in a fantastic location within 2 minutes of bistros (I recommend Bistro de Pompe) and 5 minutes of the town square. The hotel offered a free 2 hour guided walking tour of Bruges which is a must. Our guide, on his day off from teaching at the school, was excellent, friendly and so knowledgeable about his city and its' history. Our room, secured at a very good value, while small was quite comfortable. The bathroom was huge and luxurious. The women staffing the front desk were very nice and extremely helpful. We can happily recommend the Hotel Prinsenhof and, especially Bruges. Our two nights there were wonderful.

We went to Hotel Prinsenhof for three nights as part of a deal, and were very, very pleased. The hotel is about 5 minutes' walk from the main sights of Bruges, and is really pretty luxurious. Rooms are more than well equipped, with nice little touches like Nespresso machines. Breakfast is accompanied by champagne, every day, and is really good. (I've had better champagne, but you wouldn't expect vintage in that situation). Staff were superb, the bar opened late. All in all a really good place to stay.

We recently spent 2 nights in Bruges and could not have been happier with our choice of hotel. The location was perfect, so close to everything but just off the central square so very peaceful. We were impressed from the moment we entered the hotel. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming and the check in desk staff were pleasant and eager to help. Our room was charming, very spacious and well designed, spotlessly clean and all the linens and fitting were of a really high quality, we even had a lovely little balcony. The bathroom was huge with spa bath and walk in shower and double sink what more could we want The breakfast was great, plenty of choice and everything so fresh. They even offered champagne to start the day off well. A special mention about the staff, they were all incredible, always smiling and helpful and always available. This hotel certainly deserves it's 5* rating and we will definitely be back when we return to Bruges.

Excellent service. Staff very friendly, including Coco the parrot. Room and bathroom spacious and clean. Lots of choice at breakfast. Very central hotel. Two minutes walk to Belfry square, but in a very quiet street. Will definitely visit again. Half Moon brewery tour, Wall of Beer bar and boat tour highly recommended.

There are so many hotels in Bruges that selecting one for a 4-night visit was a challenge. We chose the Prinsenhof based primarily on TA reviews and were not disappointed. As we explored Bruges, we passed many hotels located a bit closer to the central square but on much busier streets than the Prinsenhof. This may contribute the quietness of the hotel, which is about an 8-minute/10 euro cab ride from the train station. It was about a pleasant, 10-minute walk to the market square and about the same to several restaurants recommended in Rick Steves' guidebook to Belgium. As for the hotel, don't expect a big, commercial place with a separate check-in desk and concierge desk. Here, one or two staffers handle everything smoothly. The same was true for the breakfast service. Want an omelett? The friendly gal in charge of breakfast will make it. The breads, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage were all terrific. The AC worked well but be sure to get a quick tutorial on the control pad. We spent two of our days in Bruges on tours, one to Flanders Fields and one a private tour to see the White Cliffs of Dover and Dunkirk. Both days were spent with guide Nathan ( who is outstanding. The other two days we toured Bruges, and that's enough to do the town. If we had it to do again, we'd again stay at the Prinsenhof.

We spent 3 days at this wonderful hotel. Centrally located within walking distance of all Bruges sights and surrounded by great restaurants. We stayed in room 51 which was delightful - lovely room, great view with shower and a fabulous bath. Robes and slippers in the great bathroom and excellent hot chocolate in the room. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the hotel is beautiful after a top quality renovation in recent years. There is a great restaurant at the rear entrance to the hotel called Vlaamse Pot - which we highly recommend for its lovely ambiance and good food. This hotel will definitely be our home base on our next visit to Bruges. It offers excellent value and a superb location.

We stayed for two nights in October, and were immediately made very welcome by the lovely staff. On arrival, the receptionist noticed it was my girlfriend’s birthday during our stay and immediately upgraded us free of charge to a deluxe room. The room itself was excellent, and had a balcony and jacuzzi bath. The next morning at breakfast we were given a special reserved table and brought birthday waffles! The hotel is quite small but has lovely decor and a very nice atmosphere. The staff couldn’t have done enough for us, and the breakfast was first class. There’s no restaurant, but this was a minor quibble considering how many nice places there were to eat within walking distance. We’d stay again.

From the welcome, through the style and comfort of the room, the excellent breakfasts, the desire of all staff we met to make us feel welcome to the wave off as we left, this hotel represents the epitome of hospitality and understated luxury of an effectively planned and operated boutique hotel. It's quiet yet central location make it an ideal base for visiting the beautiful city of Bruges. There is a wide range of restaurants and bars very close by for lunch, dinner and drinks. We have no hesitation recommending Prinsenhof to discerning travellers looking for a quiet, comfortable, individual hotel.

Wonderful stay in this lovely hotel. Location excellent, close to the Markt and all the sights. The staff were absolutely fabulous, they really care about their guests and go the extra mile to be helpful. Room marvelous, balcony was a sun trap in the late afternoon, there was a separate seating area and a jacuzzi bath. All this added to our ability to really relax and chill. Nice breakfast served with a smile. 4 nights in Bruges seems like a long time, we could have stayed longer....

Came here with my mum for a girls trip away. Such a lovely hotel with gorgeous cosy reception and bar area and a spacious room. Staff were lovely. Loved the breakfast which has everything from full English to cheese and meats to pastries complete with champagne and chocolates which was a lovely touch. Perfect location on the best shopping street. Will be returnjbg. Thank you for a lovely stay!
