The location is unbeatable, the spacious rooms and their fittings are excellent and in a very good condition. We were made to feel welcome immediately on our arrival, and although we arrived early, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel until our room was ready. On our return, this had already been taken to our rooms. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, be this at the reception, in the breakfast room or room service. Lovely personal and "family" touch about everything. If arriving by car, would recommend leaving it in public car parks (within easy walking distance). Can only praise the hotel and its staff in the highest terms. Absolutely recommendable. Thank you for everything.
The hotel itself is in a great location - on a quiet cobbled street a few minutes walk away from the main square. The staff could not have been anymore friendly, helpful and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone that values excellent customer service. 5 stars from me!
Located in the old city centre, but away from the crowds. All landmarks are within a 10 minute walking distance. Small family run hotel, with excellent personal service. It shows in the details: every single staff member greets you, everyone seems to know who you are, personalized welcome letter in the room, the cleaning lady washed up my tasting glass for the Bruges beer festival and put it ready for use on my desk. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable beds, modern bathrooms. Generous breakfast. Valet parking available. Perfect hotel.
Small friendly hotel, centrally located in a quiet location. Great attention to detail with excellent service from all staff. Very comfortable clean bedroom with lots of nice touches beautiful bathroom. The free guided city tour is highly recommended. Nice breakfast with decent choice.
Lovely hotel in the centre of Bruge. You are literally round the corner from the man shopping street but the hotel is done a side road and so quiet at night. We had a room on the 3rd floor. Very clean, jacuzzi bath lovely. We had a good stay. Only tiny thing is that the beds were two singles pushed together, which is fine, although the duvet was perhaps meant for a double so didn't feel quite wide enough for the bed during the night! Would come again.
The room we had was very large - which helps when your husband is 6ft4 ! Very clean and well decorated and really warm which was needed as it was snowing. Staff were a delight- so helpful and friendly, not forced either ! The only tiny issue I had was the bath - it was a huge spa bath which was really lovely but this was also where the shower was. When you are only 5ft tall, it was quite hard to get out of the bath as the side is so high. So if you are quite short - don't travel alone :-)
Very pleasant hotel with friendly helpful staff and great location 👍 couldn't fault it Breakfast and the rooms where good. Staff even parked the car after a long drive which was a nice touch. We would visit again.
We had a 3 night stay at the wonderful Hotel Prinsenhof. The staff were so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The hotel had all the lovely touches of a luxury hotel. Turn down service, choccies on the pillow, mini bar, bath robes, slippers, fruit in the room and lovely, friendly service. Our room was so quiet which is a big plus. It was in the joined annex so I can't speak for the rest of the rooms, but quiet rooms are a godsend and there were no guests walking up and down corridors. The level of noise everywhere was low and whilst it was clear people were having a lovely time, there was no rowdiness and everyone was respectful and smiley. The room was very clean and tidy as was the bathroom (very important) Very easy to feel at home. The breakfast was very good. So much choice - hot and cold. I don't eat red meat but my man said it was all really tasty and they cooked whatever types of eggs I wanted, beautifully, each morning. When they indicated a 'Champagne breakfast' was included, I must admit I thought it would be sparkling wine...but no! It was the real thing. I have never had fizz with breakie in a hotel as the cheap stuff ruins me for the day but this was delicious and we drank it every morning. They didn't seem to mind that most guests stayed way past breakfast cut off time so it meant you could eat your breakie, have a lovely coffee and pastry after (or whatever you like) and then a glass of fizz! They weren't slow to fill up your glass either. The lady on breakfast duty was so lovely - nothing was too much trouble. Anything we wanted to know about Bruges, the front of house staff were all on hand to help. All in all, a fabulous hotel - very reasonably priced with the Eurostar package and lovely and central so very easy to walk into the Markt. About 15/20 mins walk to the train station. Would highly recommend.
This is a beautiful hotel that's family owned. They have a great attention to detail. The whole hotel is is cozy and welcoming and the service is attentive but not over bearing. The rooms are big and and the bathrooms are stunning and large with rain showers and jacuzzi bathtubs. The bed was big and comfortable with a turn down service every night leaving a weather report for the next day and a chocolate on the pillow. We had a room facing the main street but it's on side alley so it's really quiet. I didn't hear any noise at the hotel from the street or the hall. Breakfast was a buffet with the option for hot pancakes and eggs. We went at Christmas and the front of the hotel was decorated in lights and was a delightful welcome to the hotel. I would stay at this hotel again and again and would recommend it to anyone that wants a boutique experience in Bruges.
We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel and loved the location and the spirit of friendliness which literally shines through all their staff. We were upgraded to a superior room from day 1 and the breakfasts are to die for, with champagne and everything you like. They also prepare hot dishes from the kitchen, so we had a waffle and crepes, and we saw others ordering all kinds of things. Service is excellent and always with a smile. In the room, there are coffee and tea-making facilities, they leave chocolates at turn-down and there was fruit on the table when we arrived, which was very welcome. The toiletries in the bathroom are really nice too and there are big fluffy bathrobes and slippers, as well as a great power shower and a jacuzzi. Location: this is amazing, on foot you can get to the Central Square in 4 minutes. To the canals in 6 mins. Basically: it's really central, yet removed from the noise of the streets, so you can get a quiet sleep. All in all, we loved this hotel. If we were to be picky, I would say the decor is a bit dated in the rooms and the one thing I didn't like was the bed sheets. They felt a bit polyester and hot to sleep in, but that's just me.
