Worst expirience ever! Only for 5 minutes they didn't allow us to check in! And no money refund! Although it was warned in their webpage, it was abusive treat. It was a family car trip with lots of trouble with traffic. We ended up with no hotel at night after a long day on the road. Choose another hotel
Small, quiet hotel (no kids!) a couple of stones throws away from the market. Rooms are spotlessly clean. We opted for the budget option and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. It is not big by any standard but is big enough and comfortable with both a bath tub and a shower. Breakfast is simple, but the food is excellent. The atmosphere is a bit stiff for my liking, considering this is a three star hotel where most of the guests at the time of our visit were young couples, but this is a matter of taste - it may be exactly what you are looking for. All in all, I think this is great value for money for your visit to Brugge.
Wonderful clean hotel with friendly staff. Central location made it easy to explore the city without having to worry about driving and parking. Will definately be returning. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of food, particularly like the egg boiler for perfect boiled eggs.
Hotel is clean and comfortable, the central location makes it easy accessible for most attractions including the Christmas market.hotel has no parking but underground car parking is just a few minutes walk. Bring English tea if your not a fan of the local brews. There is an excellent Argentine restaurant just around the corner, steaks are superb.
This is quant family run hotel that is a five minute stroll to the main square. The staff are friendly and are always on hand to help. Breakfast is continental but closes exactly at 10 o clock. The rooms are cosy with ensuite shower/ bathroom.
This was our second trip to Bruges and we wish we had stayed here the last time. The staff could not have been more friendly. We went out for the day and returned to our room to find they had made a little swan towel thing and left us two Belgian chocolates. If we're ever in Bruges again, this is where we would stay.
Super hotel within a short walk of the main square, restaurants and places of interest very close to the canal. Loved staying here and will most likely return in the not too distant future. The room was very Flemish which we loved with an extremely comfortable bed, separate bathroom, toilet and shower room. The breakfast was delicious and varied and the hosts superb.
No review about this property would be complete without a comment on the hosts. Both are charming men who obviously work very hard to make the property the success that it is. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them and that reflects throughout the hotel. Everything is in its place and there is a place for everything. Our room was spotless on arrival and when we returned each afternoon it was as though we had never been there. The room itself was comfortable and represented very good value for money. Breakfast was more than adequate and everything was promptly replenished as it ran down. Being located just off the centre of the town we were surprised about how quiet the hotel was.
I stayed there late October for 2 days. The room was quite small but clean and bautiful. The windows did open but the view was at the back and there was nothing to see unfortunately. The temprature was ok, although the radiators were always off. The bathroom was huge, it had bathtab AND a shower, you could say it was biggest than our room, and also very clean. The room didn't have a refidgerator, it had a TV and wifi. The staff was helpful and really calm. The only thing was that behind my door the brochure said the price per night was 71 euros and I payed 100, but I believe that is the bargain if you want to make a reservation p.s. I never understood if our room had free breakfast and never bothered to ask, so that's on me. I should stay there again, I liked it.
We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday at the end of October. We were welcomed by Danny who was absolutely charming. He talked about Bruges with such passion and made the city all the more inviting. The room - was ample for what we needed, a place to sleep and recharge the batteries before heading back out for yet another walk around the cobbled streets of this amazing city. The decor I would describe as old fashioned newness! The bed was so comfortable I even asked if I could take the mattress home with me. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and decorated with what looked like marble or granite, but not being geologist I can’t be sure - but it looked fabulous! My only slight niggle was there are no tea making facilities in the room, although there is a kettle and coffee/tea in reception for all guests to use, but it was dodgy going up stairs or in the lift with two cups of hot coffee. The breakfast - continental style, had lots of choices and replenished regularly. All fresh and tasted great. We weren’t rushed to eat up and leave. Again we were welcomed every morning by Danny with a smile and a chat about our plans for the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay Danny & Reuben. We will return to Bruges and will definitely be staying at the Hotel Biskajer again. Karen & Mike Townley
