Good value hotel. Spotlessly clean. Helpful male receptionist. Small rooms, ensuite. Shower great. Nice breakfast. Self serve. Usual continental stuff plus boiled eggs. Lovely fresh coffee. They brought sliced bread to tables, but not many people ate them as there was nicer bread rolls to be had so lots of waste. A toaster would have been good. Orange juice was lovely. Some road works and development outside but not a problem and had no effect on the hotel. Parked in underground car park 5 minutes walk from hotel, about 9 Euro a day. Great location.

Just come back from a Friday to Sunday two nights B & B stay. It was on a great deal of £169 pp return flights from Manchester, train return Brussels airport to Bruges and two nights B&B at the Albert 1 Hotel. I was not expecting anything too good for what we paid but it was excellent. Hotel is about a five minute walk from train station and right on the edge of city centre. Hotel couldn't have been any better placed. Room was ready at eleven am when we arrived. It was clean with decent storage and what looks like a not too very old bathroom with bath and shower and hairdryer. Breakfasts were continental with a wide variety of choice. There was more than enough to choose from with a variety to suit all tastes. Owners were both very helpful and friendly. I would recommend to anybody. Thank you Albert 1 Hotel.

10 minutes walk from Eurostar and this little hotel is reached just before you get towards the main attractions. For a 3 star accommodation you will be hard pressed to find anywhere cleaner or friendlier. For a short break it's a delight.

Stayed for two nights and overall had a great stay. Service was brilliant and one of the staff members rang the restaurant to confirm our booking for that evening. All staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great - selection of pastries, breads, cheese/ham etc. The rooms were clean and spacious. Only negative is that it was quite noisy and we could hear the guests in the room next to us talking and speaking on the phone. Other than that, we had a great stay and would recommend for a couple of nights stay

Stayed for two nights 17th and 18th Feb 2017. This hotel is close to the train station - handy if you're getting the eurostar, just a 10 minute walk. And because Bruges is small, you can walk to pretty much anywhere else from it. The hotel was very clean, bed very comfortable and even though it is on a busy square, it was actually very quiet. As other people have said, the breakfast is excellent and really sets you up for the day. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would happily stay at the Albert 1 Hotel again and would happily recommend it to others.

My husband, daughter and I stayed 2 nights in a "triple" room. The room was clean and setup perfectly with a king and twin size beds. We chose the Albert I because of the good reviews and the location. The owners were very nice and helpful. They patiently gave directions and recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner. One extremely minor complaint. Albert I doesn't have complimentary coffee/tea available in the rooms. We would definitely stay here again!

This hotel has a great location, clean rooms, and a wonderful breakfast. But that is not even the best part. We left our rail passes at home and had to have them mailed to the Hotel, after we checked out, they let us hang out in the lobby and wait for the mail to arrive. They were friendly and fun the whole while, never upset at us just sitting there. Thanks!

We stayed at the family run Albert 1 Hotel , Bruges,to celebrte a special birthday., Christof and Mimi the owners were fantastic and gave us tremenedous service. Nothing was too much for them and they gave grea attention to detail. Our room was big and very comfortable with all mod cons - flat screen tv etc. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. In addition the Albert Hotel 1 is well located being a 10 minute walk away from the Railway station and about a 5 minute walk into the ciy centre. We highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location and just a short walk from the car park and a short walk from town. The rooms were a good size, nice bed and pillows and the bathroom was lovely - but the drawback was having the toilet out of the main bathroom and on its own behind a door in the room - a little tight and also unusual. Breakfast was really good with a nice selection of bread, pastries, meat and cheeses.

Stayed at the Albert 1, beginning of December for a Christmas Market trip to beautiful Bruges, where I will be returning and staying again. The room had all the nice amenities. The location could not be better with a short walk from the train station and another short walk into the town center. And should you need a bus for any reason, the stop is located directly across the street. Very quaint hotel which was immaculate and had a very friendly staff. The breakfast was very nice, with a lot of variety and a lovely lady both mornings to greet us and cater to our needs. No elevator but a nice spiral staircase which just adds to the charm of this hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Bruges...
