This hotel is very basic, we just stayed one night but was in the perfect location from the train station to be able to walk. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags while we explored the city, again, an easy 5/10 minute walk from the centre. We went back to put our stuff in the rooms which was comfy clean and everything you need it to be for one night! We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Would definitely recommend as a perfect location for the town centre and train station! Very easy city to navigate!
We stayed two nights there on our way back from Switzerland easy to find and they offered parking if you booked it at a good price. Hotel is a little bit tired and they are doing building work but on noise from them. Staff àre very friendly and helpful gave us a map of central Bruge just 10 minutes walk and you could leave car all day. Price was good would ask for a room out back as main road noise otherwise a good stay.
Spent one evening in this Hotel located very close to the centre of Bruges. We had a family room for four, which was convenient, clean modern, comfortable beds, cool led lighting and came with a fridge and good WiFi. This family-run establishment is a great and affordable place to stay while visiting, which also offers some on-site paid parking and a breakfast option. The staff are friendly and helpful but be forewarned that reception closes at 20h. I would stay here again!
The hotel overall was ok but there was building work going on,starting at 7am. Iwas not told about this until I was in Belgium. The room I was in was clean and comfortable but I could not have the window open on a night as the hotel was on a very busy road with traffic going past all night. There was fan in the room to cool you down but as the temperature was in the mid 20's this was not much good and sleeping on a night was uncomfortable. The breakfast was not bad for a continental breakfast. The location was good with a 10 min, walk into the main square. The ride on the canal boats was a real treat and the market on a Wednesday was worth a visit as were all the lace and chocolate shops.
We just spent a night here on tour of Belgium, This is an old house converted into a hotel. Within easy walk of central Bruge and the railway station. Friendly staff and terrific breakfast. Beware it is located on a main road so best ot try and get room at the back. Also currently being renovated and so car parking is limited
This hotel attracted by by good pictures of their rooms, and by offering significant discount for the period when we planned to visit Bruges. This turned to be a big disappointment. Rooms are really tiny, there is only one bed and 2 tiny side tables. One of them was occupied by the safety box. No table or an other chair to sit or put things on. No air conditioning. We tried to open the balcony door, but it could only be open partially due to the bed being in the way. Our room overlooked the highway, which was very busy day and night, so the sleep was unpleasant. The silicon seal at the bottom of bath tub glass door was sall covered in mold and fixed so badly, that the bathrooon turned in to a flood after each time you take shower. And the discount turned out to be a joke. The discounted price did not include breakfast (Eu 24 for 2 persons), which is otherwise included in the standard rate. But this information was nowhere shown in the discount offer. Totally do not recommend this place. There are many better hotels in Bruges.
This hotel is well located to easily walk into the center of the action in Bruges. It's 10 minutes from the train station....and footsteps away form a local side street with several lovely shops. I would recommend consideration of this 3 star hotel...but please note my specific room assessment below. The lobby is modest, with a small sitting garden just behind. The staff are welcoming and helpful. The rooms seem to vary. We were travelling with another couple and their room was a decent size, including with good space to move about and to accommodate luggage. Our room was #10...and I would recommend that you explicitly ask NOT to be placed in that room. It is literally right at the elevator door...and because of the hotel structure, it does not easily accommodate any additional space to place luggage or for you to move around. I found it was not a comfortable room. Bed comfort was mediocre. Bathroom was very large and bright...but with a very odd shower configuration. To be fair, the manager was willing to move us after the first day...but we chose not to take the time nor inconvenience ourselves to pack up and move for our next night.
Visited Bruges for the Christmas Markets and stayed here for a couple of nights. Accomodated in what appears to be a new/renovated annex at the rear over looking the carpark. Room large and comfortable only proble was water didnot run very hot. Breakfast standard for hotels in this area with the exception of a large server of scrambled egg. Only one person running around the the provable blue **** fly trying to keep the breakfast table topped up and clear tables as they were used. The hotel is a short walk from town centre (15 Mins) and only has a small carpark which needs to be booked in advance but it is literally adjacent to the entrance of a city underground carpark which is cheaper than the hotels and very good, left the car for the duration of our stay no problem.
Hotel nice and clean. Young girls staff very nice and work hard. Bedroom quite noisy with the traffic outside. Quite a pleasant stay. Breakfast quite good with English tea. Could do with a kettle in the room.
Good location about a 10 minute walk to the city centre Good breakfast something for everyone Rooms very clean only criticism no tea/coffee making facility and no cafe/bar on site Warm and friendly staff who were very attentive Would recommend a stay here
