Stayed here for two nights during a break in Bruges. On arrival the staff was so helpful and friendley, they could not do enough for us. After a night out we came back and had a nightcap before bed. The guy on the bar Thomas I think was so friendly and happy to pass on his knowledge of the area for any trips. The room was outstanding and done to a very high standard. The bed was really comfortable an had a great nights sleep. Some great little touches throughout our stay by the staff like posting a card each morning with what the weather was going to be like if you needed a brolly. Would definitely come back next time we are in Bruges.

Hotel is even better than expected from publicity blurb. Not only did it have everything you'd expect and more, it's the little - personal touch - things that tip the scales. A personally addressed hand written welcoming you, for example; the little extras at breakfast; etc. The main square is the next street. You can forget your car - throw them the keys and they'll park it for you. Keep the window closed to avoid the teenage noise from the street and get some kip in the box spring bed. Not just a kettle and packets of godawful imitation coffee, but a Nespresso machine. Didn't try the restaurant because - strange for this time of the season - it was closed. Never fear, there's bumper-to-bumper food palais all over town.

Best continental breakfast I ever had in my life! It was a better meal then some that we had at gourmet restaurants. Beautiful sundeck. Its a must to go there for a coffee or tea drink in your hands. Very friendly and helpful Staff.

This small, family run hotel is absolutely marvellous. The staff is great, helpful and service minded, and the rooms are small but well equipped (iPad and Bose sound system included), tastefully decorated, cosy and clean. Hand written cheerful notes and bits chocolate makes you feel really taken care of. The bed is wonderful and the A/C works well, though slightly noisy when cooling. Breakfast, if not included in room rate, is a bit expensive at €29 for the buffé with champagne or €15 for the minimal Continental. Look for cafés serving breakfast around the corner, they might be a more affordable alternative, though not at all as delightful as the hotel buffé. Location is very good with the Bellfort square (Markt) a couple of blocks away and a smaller square with nice bars and restaurants just around the corner. The hotel itself is on a quiet street, though. Any corner of the old town area is within a ten minute walk. We stayed four nights at the Heritage, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and we are very satisfied choosing this hotel. Highly recommended!

The hotel is very conveniently located, and the rooms are lovely, very well appointed with wonderful beds. The service at the hotel was excellent, with all staff being extremely helpful. I would definitely recommend it. The restaurant was not serving dinner during our stay, but the bar was very cozy and a nice respite from the bustle of the streets.

We had a great visit for our anniversary trip. Beautiful rooms (we had a small suite and a smaller second room). Beautiful rooms, wonderful staff, one short block to main square yet quiet, elegant breakfast. Not perfect (AC a bit undersized in suite not getting into bedroom well, lighting oddly designed) but close enough otherwise to rate my almost never given 5 stars. Every hotel seemed beautiful in this amazing place but Heritage really stood out.

Oh my goodness! What a wonderful weekend both my husband and I have had to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. (A surprise gift from me to my lovely husband!) The Heritage was exquisite and our stay was full of welcome and generosity. From the room, breakfast, evening attentiveness through to the expert concierge service bestowed upon all the guests arriving and departing. Their lovely 25-room accommodation was luxurious.. and our room was beautifully decorated and ever so comfortable. The little touches were memorable from Belgian waffles at breakfast through to exquisite home made cakes in the evening.. I truly recommend staying here and hope to return soon ourselves. Thank you Hotel Heritage!

Very elegant, beautiful boutique hotel just steps from the heart of medieval Bruges. Walk to everything, the Belfort, museums, restaurants, etc. The room was lovely, very comfy bed and linens, good air conditioning, beautiful breakfast service. Everyone we came in contact with at the hotel was very friendly and professional. The only issue we had during our stay was the Wi-Fi. It was always very weak and one night I kept gettinh disconnected and then couldn't get a signal at all. I would definitely recommend this gem to anyone looking for a lovely little hotel in historic Bruges.

The Heritage hotel was an excellent choice when visiting Bruges - the location is a minutes walk to the main square; the ambiance is awesome; the rooms, food and service were all first class - highly recommended.

I booked through secret escapes - usually this hotel would be rather out of my price range - but I would consider staying here again even if I had to pay full price! This was one of the nicest places i've ever stayed. The hotel was beautiful, and perfectly located with friendly staff. The rooms were so well equipped, and very nicely decorated. Our room didn't feel too small, though I suppose we aren't big people and we didn't have a lot of luggage. Breakfast was absolutely incredible - we had the champagne breakfast included and it was such a treat. The continental buffet was delightful, with fresh fruit, juice, meat, cheese, bread and pastries. A lady appeared at our table on our first morning and asked if we'd like an egg - yes! It came with a bit of toast and i think a hollandaise and it was perfection. There were also sausages and bacon etc available. The dining rooms were exquisitely decorated. We stayed in January, when Bruges is very quiet - so the restaurant was closed for dinner but this was no bother for us. We also had the joy of the christmas decorations still being up. There was also a gorgeous bar and library room, where we had a drink and relaxed. Getting the weather report and little chocolates everyday was so sweet. Only mild issue was the plumbing in our bathroom went a bit awry on our last day but I think that was just bad luck. Overall, delightful. Top tip though - there's a much cheaper public car park 5 mins away on foot so if you're driving go for that!
