We have just returned from a 3 night stay at The Heritage and were very impressed with it. We arrived by train and found it easy to walk into the centre of the town (we just followed the other people getting off the train!). We had rucksacks so it was easy for us, but some people with suitcases on wheels struggled as the streets are all cobbled. The hotel is right in the centre of the town, just behind the market square and there's a broen tourist sign to show you where it is if you aren't sure. Although you might expect this to be a noisy location it was absolutely fine. The hotel is very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated, They gave us a free room upgade as it was our anniversary. We were in room 42 which was fabulous (jacuzzi bath included) on the 4th floor, with views of the Belfry. The stairs are quite narrow and its a spiral staircase so wont be suitable for everyone but there was a lift so no problem. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat at the hotel but the chocolates on our bed every night were delicious and the nespresso machine with free coffee was a nice touch.

Cannot remember when I have stayed in a better hotel than this one! It’s in a brilliant location near the market square but not in a noisy area. Fabulous elegant decor but with modern amenities. Very friendly and helpful staff, you are made very welcome with little personal touches. The breakfasts were amazing and throughly recommended! Looking forward to returning.

We have just spent three nights at The Heritage and we will definitely return. The hotel is fabulous, with beautiful decor and friendly and helpful staff. The service is excellent, the room and especially the bed was very comfortable and the location in a quiet street meant there was no disturbance at night. Complimentary fruit, coffee, water and Belgian chocolates were provided every day. The breakfasts were delicious, probably the best I have ever had in a hotel, with different 'treats' provided every day. Also the fruit juice was freshly squeezed. The staff and the owners really do go the extra mile. The hotel location is perfect, within walking distance of all of the main attractions. If you want to have an evening meal in the restaurant I would advise you book in advance, it was fully booked during our visit. When we return to Bruges we will definitely stay here.

This hotel should have been 5-star instead of 4. We had the deluxe room which is spacious by European standard and location is perfect. Everything is immaculate. From the towels to the pillows. They gave complimentary fruit basket and chocolate as well. A perfect hotel in a beautiful town.

We have stayed in this hotel around 30 times over a number of years. Our last visit was just before Christmas. We wanted to see what Bruges was like in the run up to Christmas. It was absolutely magical and we even had snow! The hotel was beautifully decorated and we spent part of one day in the lounge due to the icy conditions which meant my husband was not that keen to go out for fear of slipping over. The wine and nibbles were delicious. We had a lovely stay, the breakfast was superb and the meal we had in the restaurant was really special - very expensive but worth every penny. The hotel goes from strength to strength and we look forward to returning very soon.

The Relais & Chateaux in Bruges is absolutely beautiful from top to bottom. Every nook and cranny is elegant and special, though it maintains an element of charm. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed from the moment I stepped in the door. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Location was perfect, along a quiet street but only a few quick blocks to the center of everything. I'm already making plans to return!!

If this is your first time to stay in Bruges and you are visiting the city without your children, I recommend this hotel as it is elegant and provides remarkable service. You are an important guest here, and the owners will welcome you with an evening reception. We are certainly planning to come back. Isabelle Williams - RNI Travel in Kansas City, USA.

This hotel is amazing. It is rated as a 4 star, but the quality and service is 5 star and more. The moment you walk into the hotel you are welcomed warmly and with great professionalism. The staff are very proud of their hotel and nothing is too much trouble, Whilst we were checking in, the young receptionist whisked our bags away to the room, whilst we complete check in. We were shown around the room and how everything worked. The hotel is just off the main square and offers valet parking if needed. The breakfast is amazing and so well presented. We were invited to a champagne reception hosted by the owners and it was great to spend time chatting to them about their hotel and how it had changed over the years, We felt that we were actually in someone's house as guests the way we were treated and this has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. We have already started planning a return visit and have recommended this hotel to friends. Thank you to all the staff and owners for an enjoyable and relaxing stay in your amazing hotel

Every bit a top class hotel. We didn’t try the highly rated restaurant but in terms of reception, room, room service, bar and breakfast, the hotel was brilliant. The hotel is very quietly situated but only just off the main square, with easy access to the tourist attractions. In fact the A4 map that reception provide was the only guide that we needed all week. Excellent service from all staff.

Lovely family run Hotel the staff friendly and helpful ,kept clean and fresh. Perfect location as it’s close to Market Centre and a short walk to canals. Breakfast was the best we have ever had.Would recommend this Hotel to friends and family . A wonderful 4 days visit .
