The Heritage hotel was an excellent choice when visiting Bruges - the location is a minutes walk to the main square; the ambiance is awesome; the rooms, food and service were all first class - highly recommended.
I booked through secret escapes - usually this hotel would be rather out of my price range - but I would consider staying here again even if I had to pay full price! This was one of the nicest places i've ever stayed. The hotel was beautiful, and perfectly located with friendly staff. The rooms were so well equipped, and very nicely decorated. Our room didn't feel too small, though I suppose we aren't big people and we didn't have a lot of luggage. Breakfast was absolutely incredible - we had the champagne breakfast included and it was such a treat. The continental buffet was delightful, with fresh fruit, juice, meat, cheese, bread and pastries. A lady appeared at our table on our first morning and asked if we'd like an egg - yes! It came with a bit of toast and i think a hollandaise and it was perfection. There were also sausages and bacon etc available. The dining rooms were exquisitely decorated. We stayed in January, when Bruges is very quiet - so the restaurant was closed for dinner but this was no bother for us. We also had the joy of the christmas decorations still being up. There was also a gorgeous bar and library room, where we had a drink and relaxed. Getting the weather report and little chocolates everyday was so sweet. Only mild issue was the plumbing in our bathroom went a bit awry on our last day but I think that was just bad luck. Overall, delightful. Top tip though - there's a much cheaper public car park 5 mins away on foot so if you're driving go for that!
B&B's and VRBO's are just fine, but every now and then it's nice to stay in a genuine 4-star hotel, like this one. Great location just off the Markt Square, impeccable, helpful and friendly service, luxurious comfort, great appointments, all the little touches. We didn't try the restaurant, but the bar was nice for a nightcap (who does that anymore?). Go ahead - pamper yourself.
The hotel is beautiful and attention to detail is what they have done from the booking to the finish line. Everything that a traveler might need is there and well thought of. This should have been rated a five star hotel!
Truly a superb boutique, but luxury hotel in every regard. It is well located within walking distance to everything one wants to see in Brugge. Owners and staff were helpful, friendly and caring. It shows in every aspect of the business. There was a film crew on our floor when we arrived and immediately one of the owners appeared to apologize for any inconvenience...there was none...offered us a glass of champagne, etc. Restaurant was superb and quite underrated since it does not have 2 stars at least.
We stayed two nights here while in Europe celebrating our anniversary. The staff was warm, friendly and helpful. Our room was ready upon arrival, clean, spacious and well appointed. The bathroom had a nice soaking tub in addition to a shower, which was much appreciated. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome fruit, champagne at turn down and personalized note from the hotel GM. The mattress was comfortable and we slept well. The hotel is very centrally located to all the sights and attractions in Bruge. If you are looking for luxury and all the comforts of home with the authentic charm of Bruge, this is the hotel for you.
Nice hotel with historical notch located in the absolute center of the city making any stay in Bruges even more fairy-tale like. Smaller, but cozy rooms, very clean. The rooms are a bit overcrowded with quite heavy furniture which is not necessarily appealing to everybody. The hotel even has its own wellness, not usual for all city type hotels. The staff is very attentive and helpful. All in all, nice hotel, not too much to complain about.
they go the extra mile at the hotel. beautiful room; extras that you only get at 5 star hotel, loved the heated bathroom floor!....only had breakfast which was great, short walking distance to town center. A word of warning be careful where you get your money out of, just around the corner from hotel just down from the pharmacy there is an ATM, I had problems with, I tried it 3 times and got no money, it took nearly $900 out of my account a month later I am still trying to get my money back, so be VERY careful in Bruges that you go to a credible place.
Extraordinary care in a most cozy hotel I've ever been. I truly recommend the place for business & pleasure stay. You will love it!!! Their hospitality was ammazing & outstanding. Go there & have a personal experience!!
Comfortable and beautifully appointed. We liked the hand-written welcome note from the owner and the delicious chocolates. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was exceptional and beautifully presented.
