Bonifacius in Bruges is a charming B&B, in a charming setting in a charming city. The rooms are charming, the people are charming, the welcome is charming and even the breakfast (with surprise champagne) is charming. Did I mention that it's charming? Coming to Bruges? Stay at Bonifacius.

My girlfriend booked our trip for my birthday, and as soon as we arrived at the guesthouse we was given a warm welcome and a glass of champagne, then shown to our wonderful room over looking the canal. The breakfast is superb served in a great room over looking the canal. This is a must stay place if you want luxury.

We stayed here for a winter weekend, primarily for the Christmas markets. The guesthouse is superb. Our room was fabulous, the location ideal and the service outstanding. We arrived late, around 11pm, and it was no problem to check us in, find and book a restaurant that was still open, and make us immediately feel relaxed. I can not recommend this highly enough.

A beautiful trip was had in Brugge. Staying at the Guesthouse Bonifacius was pure luxury from the moment we arrived until the time that we left. We were greeted by the owner, Lynn, who couldn’t do enough to make us feel welcome. The room itself with its fantastic views of the canal, along with the public areas and roof terrace were decorated splendidly and were immaculate. Every detail was thought of and done to perfection! The mini bar, which was included, was restocked daily, and the breakfast was exquisite. I cannot recommend this hidden gem enough, and I will certainly be revisiting!

This must be the best place to stay in Bruges. Our room was beautiful; the breakfast was great; we ate oysters on the roof terrace in sunshine; tourists on boat trips even take photographs of guests sitting in the windows! The guesthouse is opposite a Michelin star restaurant (Den Harynck) and is only a stone's throw from all the historic sights of Bruges. Thoroughly recommended.

Wow, where do we start. From the time I made the reservation, the experience was outstanding. Lyne (the owner) is very friendly and easy to work with. We stayed in the large top floor suite that is not shown on their website. Steep, narrow staircase so not for everyone but we loved it. Canal view from a small window in the living area. The large suite is furnished in a modern style while the rest of the rooms are furnished more antique. The building is a charming renovated 16th century building on a canal. Picturesque, romantic, and wonderful location. This inn is one of the most photographed buildings in all of Bruges. You will be staying where EVERYONE who passes by wishes they were staying! Over-the-top breakfast cooked to order and served in the cozy breakfast room while you gaze out the leaded glass windows complete with old world hardware. Hands down the best place you can stay in Bruges! Thank you Lyne for a wonderful 3 night stay.

Absolutely charming place that takes you back to another time, a peaceful retreat away from the peak season tourist mayhem that is brugge. Service impeccable; check in was a breeze and a there was a wonderful breakfast service. Room was clean and well appointed. The hostess couldn't do enough for us - she was fabulous. My only criticism is the bed was rather hard - but that is personal preference. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

We stayed in a room with a canal view for one night and loved this place. The location is fabulous, the inn quite historic and charming, the breakfast wonderful and the inn-keeper extremely helpful. I highly recommend this inn.

Our stay at Bonifacius Guesthouse was truly memorable. This quaint and charming inn was perfect and exactly as portrayed on the website - it was like being in a fairy tale. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. The location was central yet very quiet. We highly recommend this guesthouse.

My sister, niece/goddaughter and I stayed at the guesthouse in the room facing the canal during our trip to Bruges. It was lovely. The room is quaint, clean, full of history and very spacious - plenty of room for 3 women~king size bed & a very comfortable rollaway bed. The hostess Lyne goes above & beyond to make every guest feel comfortable. She is a very attentive & gracious. The breakfast is amazing including a cappuccino/latte machine. The location couldn't be better-so close to everything :) The Exclusive Guesthouse Bonifacius is top notch!
