It felt like a safe haven after two weeks on a boat. Tranquil and gorgeous beach, great staff and I had the best massage in years. As for Sundari and splurge with 90 minutes if you can!
The location is gorgeous — on a private white sand beach. The outdoor eating and bar areas overlook the ocean and the pool area is tastefully planned with a pool bar and lounge chairs and shaded areas to sit. Rooms are bungalow style and beautifully furnished — staff friendly and efficient.

The hotel is in a private area with a private beach. The hotel room are like private cottages.The restaurant food is excellent. The Caribbean lobster was great.
Honestly, you need to disregard the negative reviews of the Wyndham Tortola. Having just spent two full weeks there, I can tell you -- unequivocally -- that this is a spectacular place to stay and an incredible bargain. First, the beach is pristine and spectacular. It's now my favorite beach in the world, and I've been to many -- from Vieques to Bonaire to Isla Holbox to St. Martin. When I say pristine, I mean it is a beach as you'd imagine it a hundred years ago -- where you can wade and swim with shoals of silvery fish and get within feet of tarpon and bonefish when they cruise the shallows. Second, the resort is small enough that the beach is often empty -- particularly as people retreat to the pool at day's end or the bar during the heat of midday. And as you look around this spectacular crescent of beach, bracketed mountains and close by islands, it hard not to be awestruck. Third, rooms are great -- just the right size, terrific air conditioners that keep the temperature as cold as you'd want, great water pressure, great beds, and a sizable refrigerator to hold your food and beverages. Fourth, the restaurant serves good food. The menu is somewhat limited, but we're foodies and we did just fine with a little repetition over two weeks. There is always fresh fish, often fresh grilled lobster, and killer pancakes in the morning (and great drinks!). Finally, the management and staff are caring, friendly, and efficient. You always return to a pristine room.

We stayed just one night for easy travel to the airport. The villa we were was updated and was nice and clean. The restaurant food was very good and friendly service. The pool looked beautiful, but it was raining the afternoon we arrived. We would stay there again for it's convenient location. The beach was also big, but we did not go on it because of the rain. Great value for our last night in Tortola.
This is one of the most beautiful resorts in the world. It is very affordable and there is no better stay on Tortola.

Clean rooms. Nice beach but service at the restaurant is very slow. Expect to spend a minimum of 2 hours for any meal with some errors in order. There must be one chef but other than that overall a good experience.
Everything was as expected considering the remodeling. We look forward to when the work is finished. We were disappointed the pool wasn’t ready yet, but the beach was wonderful. The staff were as accommodating as they could be. Overall we were pleased with our stay and got a great night sleep to finish off our vacation.
The staff are fabulous and very accommodating. Although they were hit hard by Irma, they are slowly rebuilding. No restaurant or bar yet but you can see they are working on it and they have a free shuttle to a fantastic restaurant in a harbor. The private beach was amazing and just what we needed after our 10 day sail........ clean and relaxing. We will definitely be back!
