The place was okay. The location is pretty close to the beach but it is on a fairly busy road with a bus stop outside the window. The furniture feels like cheap Ikea stuff (to be expected), and the bed squeaked every time you moved. Add to the fact that the front door was being repaired, which happened to be right outside ours, made for a non-relaxing stay. We left a day early and found alternative accommodation. Also, it said it came with Netflix. What it means is they had a smart TV not that Netflix was part of the apartment. Hardly the owners fault but also came back to find someone had stolen are car parking spot, it could do with some residents-only signs. I would not return.

Great comfortable stay

The location of this property was excellent and met our needs. It was clean and comfortable. Communications with the property owner were also great. The checkin process was easy and it being a main floor unit and close to entrance an absolute bonus. The second bedroom door did not close properly but that should be an easy fix which I feel the owner will address. We very highly recommend this unit. VERY close to the beach and walking areas as well!

The headline feature is its location; it is a ten minute walk to Alum Chine beach. My preteen kids walked down in about ten minutes (and it took me about the same time to walk back up the hill to get the car to go pick them up wet and tired later that day). Having off street parking so close to the beach made being able to just pop down for an evening paddle much more appealing. The property is a decent size for four people; being on the ground floor, it is car park adjacent, so we tended to leave the curtains and windows closed for privacy, which had the obvious effect of making the room very warm. The decor is really nice; most of the furniture seems newish Ikea, the beds are comfortable and a good space for relaxing, though the kids upstairs where very noticeable with their running about.

Close to great walks along the Bournemouth beachfront

We had no issues checking in, there was a slight plumbing issue that the owners fixed immediately it was apparent. The position of the property is a surprise and is very close to the promenade walk along the beachfront toward the pier. Quality of the service was exemplary and we extended our stay.
