We loved it. The reclaimed firehouse theme is charmingly-executed, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Our double-queen room was unavailable, so they gave us 2 king rooms for our family of 3. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

My girlfriend and I stayed for a three-day weekend and loved our time at The Kendall Hotel. Specifically, we appreciated the decor with the fire truck and dalmation dog models and other antique decor, the helpfulness of the staff, the breakfast (though I wish it was available past 10am) and the walkability to the Back Bay of Boston (can walk over the bridge and be in Kenmore Square in about a half hour).

1) We booked through ORBITZ and upon arrival were told that we would have to pay $45/day for parking which we were told would have been free had we booked directly. We were also told there was no cheaper parking or street parking nearby. WELL: We found free street parking for part of the time 1 block a way and $11/day weekend parking at the MIT East Campus garage 2 blocks away. (100 Main ST) DON"T GET RIPPED OFF ON PARKING!! 2) The "Breakfast Buffet" is PATHETIC- We've had better breakfasts at bottom end roadside motels. The "BUFFET" was: coffee/ hot water, a few hard-boiled eggs, white bagels, some maybe yogurt stuff in cups, a couple of types of packaged mini-roll things and a few condiments like cream cheese and milk in a pitcher and jelly NO juice/ cereal/ fruit/ pancakes/waffles etc. POINT IS: the place is expensive and multiple posters in the stairwell make promises such as the "Best breakfast"/ Fireman's breakfast/ full breakfast buffet etc. We wound up going out to get something worth eating.

We liked historical significance, comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere, free breakfast, parking on site.

Beautiful and quaint. Best of class. Service was great and facility was spotless.

it is in the perfect part of town, close to public transportation,in the middle of the city but quiet. Felt sorry that i missed the breakfast because of covi19.

Location was good and worth the cost. Rooms were clean.

Mark and Odar - they are very courteous and very attentive. I feel at home.

Excellent experience. Lovely place, friendly and attentive personnel. Excellent environment

I prepaid my hotel with Orbitz. There was $100 charge by the hotel on my credit card. When I called Kendall the staff said I should call my credit card company. She was rude. She said the hold was already released and no longer their problem.

Excelent Place and very friendly Staff. Also have a very good Restaurant

This place goes the extra mile! Fabulous breakfast!

We were pleasantly surprised by this historic hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff at the hotel was pleasant and assisted us with our needs. Though a bit further away, it was a pleasant walk to Fenway and back to watch the Red Sox play.
