Charming Cottage in Downtown Bolinas

This sweet 'old school' Bolinas beach cottage is conveniently located just steps away from downtown, the beach and some of the best surfing in West Marin. After a day at the beach you can take a warm outdoor shower and grill some locally caught salmon in the sun filled back yard. Opportunities for a great vacation are endless here.
The primary bedroom has a king bed and the primary bath has a claw foot tub and sink. The second bedroom has a full size built-in captains bed and adjacent half bath. The living room has a sleeper sofa if separate beds are desired. For entertainment, there is a Smart TV loaded with your favorite apps, a DVD player with a selection of DVDs, board games, and a record player and record collection. The living room has a wood burning stove and the rest of the house has electric wall heaters . The kitchen is fully stocked, and the separate dining room seats 6. The sun room has a built in desk, and the back garden has a shower and tub, gas BBQ, outdoor seating, and fruit trees. Dogs OK but must be kept off furniture.
Bed Configuration:
King in primary bedroom, Full in 2nd Bedroom, Sleeper Sofa in Living Room with memory foam mattress.
Parking: There is parking for one car in the driveway. Other cars will need to find legal street parking. Please be mindful of the neighbors, and be careful not to block anyone's driveway.

I loved the house and have stayed there several times. Location is excellent. Walkable to town. I felt safe and comfortable. My first choice in Bolinas. I did feel the extra charge for booking “ finders fee” whatever that is? was excessive- possibly preventing another stay - though I hope not. My first time booking thru VRBO. Usually go through ARBNB website. I do recommend the house. Owner is wonderful.

This location is excellent and the cottage is really quaint and small. It was very clean and well and had a well stocked kitchen. Short walk to town and the beach. There were two issues for us. It sleeps 4 and we planned to cook our meals. The kitchen was tiny with almost no counter space and was very crowded for 2 people. The other issue was the second bedroom was really a pass through hallway to the backyard with not much space for belongings. Both beds were very comfortable though and it was very quiet at night.

House cleaning

Hi!! Lovely experience. Only ding on cleanliness was when I went to pullout the sleeper chair, I pushed the chair back and found clumps of dust and a dirty sock from a prior renter. Otherwise clean and lovely. Only other comment: The lens on the camera on the listings photos made the rooms and the front sun room look much much larger.

Great location! Easy walk to beach, coffee, stores. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Porch swing and backyard are lovely for enjoying the sun. Kitchen is quite small and dated, limited counter space etc. We ended up cooking simple meals but good to know if you're planning a larger meal.

I enjoyed my stay I had a couple of people stay for a night and a few came up for the day. I loved the proximity to the beach, the town and the backyard garden was a great place to eat and visit.
