The room appeared not to have been properly cleaned. There was dirt—and what looked to be black mould—in the window sill, there was dust in the bed head, and dirt spots in the toilet floor. Took photos, went to the reception and showed the photos to them. They offered to come upstairs and wipe it clean, but by then I had lost confidence in the property. This is what the dirt I could see, imagine what I couldn’t see. I asked for a refund, which was promptly actioned. I have zero complaints about the reception staff; they were efficient and professional. My issue is with the cleanliness and care of the room. For the rate we pay, the least I expect is a clean room. Especially if that was really black mould, that’s dangerous. Very disappointing.
