If you need reasonably priced, clean, pleasant accommodations, this is your place. If you want a vacation spot, with fancies and frills, this won't be what you want. Excellent for a one-night-through or a working stay. Beds are a little firm for my liking, but nothing wrong with them. Service by front desk staff was efficient and quite pleasant. The breakfast is substantial and hot. I recommend it, and will use this hotel next time I am in the area.

Nice accommodations for the price, room was clean, a little worn but hotel was going through upgrades. Hopefully showers will be improved.

Clean, quiet and close to several dining venues. Staff was pleasant and treated us like a guest. Great stay and will stay there again on our next trip to Birmingham. Many thanks for making our stay a pleasant one.

Everything Satisfactory

bolt lock didn't work; bugs in room; harley davidson bikers in the parking lot. just awful. we didn't stay.

My elderly parents love to travel, and we like to provide them with a place to stay to keep their road time short. The Jameson is a reasonably priced hotel that is comfortable and pleasant. They love the beds.

I came here to do a craft show. The hotel staff was so accommodating. AFter recent knee surgery, I did not want to climb stairs. They switched my room upon check-in to a downstairs room. The location is wonderful, near the interstate, many restaurants within walking distance. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Whenever we come to Birmingham we stay here. We can count on an affordable place to stay that is pleasant, clean, and convenient.

The hotel was adequate for a short stay. Breakfast was very good. Hotel was clean. Staff very polite and helpful. The price was right.

Pleasant experience. Will stay again if going to that area.

It was a very great stay!

We were in town to help our daughter move. The location was close to their new home and was perfect for what we needed. I asked for handicap accessible and it was. It was easy to get into--not much walking necessary-- and the bathroom bars were very helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and gave you many choices for a nice breakfast.

I feel that the breakfast menu could have also included boiled eggs. Martha, at the front desk, was simply marvelous. My reservation had not been forwarded to the hotel. She personally contacted those in charge to insure my reservation was properly recorded and forwarded without further delay.

Jamison Inn was okay, only stayed their because it was the only hotel in the area that accepted pets, beds were very hard but came with a lot of pillows, ashtray in room was dirty but it was behind the window curtain so I guess the staff missed it when cleaning room. The staff was very friendly and helpful in giving us directions around town and places to go see.

The room had an old oder. A lot of the appliances did not work properly or just didn't work at all. For example the hair dryer button wasn't working where you could control it, the coffee pot was broke and the refrigerator smelled. I have allergies to smoking and to mold and mildew. So needless to say, I wasn't feeling very well the next morning. I've had another experience with this same hotel in Panama City, Fl. Do they not know what clean is? Oh yes, the old chair in the room should have been trashed a long time ago.
