Great little hotel rooms that my partner and myself both love staying at. Great price as well. Rooms are small but that's what we enjoy about them, we opt for the room without a window as it feels very cosy and snug. I would recommend this to anyone. Probably not best for families or children but great for young people and couples. It's nothing fancy but the rooms are smart.
This hotel is very conveniently-located, being only a few minutes' walk from New Street Station in a street with eating and drinking options. It is located above a disco or nightclub, but I didn't hear hardly any music during my stay, although I was occasionally aware of people in the street. The weekend would probably be noisy, but not weekdays. I paid £61 for a double room with a window and was given a sizeable and lovely triple room with windows which I was very satisfied with. My main reason for choosing this hotel was because I had a morning flight from Birmingham Airport and wanted to be as close as possible to the train station as the Ibis Budget Hotel for that evening, where I usually stay under these circumstances, was charges ludicrously high prices for that night. The room I was given was about the same size as one at the ones at Ibis Budget and was just as comfortable with very comfortable beds and pillows, 2 large towels and 2 small ones, an extremely clean room that was literally spotless, attractive décor that included an orange door, a proper shower cubicle with good shower spray once you work out how to use it (the left control is for water temperature and the right one for water quantity). Liquid soap is also provided as aircon/heating which you can adjust in the room. If you want to watch the TV or use the WiFi, you have to pay though (a bit like Malaysia's Tune Hotels about 10 years ago). Easyhotels are most probably a copy of the Tune Hotels in any case as Easy Hotels are part of Easyjet in much the same way as the Tune Hotels are run by AirAsia. However, there are 20 minutes' free WiFi available though. There is a lift in the building, the receptionist that dealt with me was very pleasant and I believe breakfast is also available for a surcharge. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay here and would stay here again without too much hesitation as long as it is on a weekday.
I stayed at the easyjet hotel in Birmingham as it always has a great price for a comfortable and clean room. Also, the staff are very polite and helpful, especially a young women (Jennifer) which greeted me with a smile and gave me some good tips!
Everything you would expect from the Easy brand, in that if you want anything other than the room there are charges. However for 1 night on business the room was clean and 2 min walk to New Street station.
I have to say that the customer service that I received from the never of staff after my booking had been needed around. From another website but Furmino. God bless her saved the day. Fantastic customer service and do helpful well done
Had to cancel the trip due to an unexpected circumstance, the hotel would not refund the £63 I spent on a room and when I called to inquire the manager was very cocky with me and had a horrendous attitude. I do not know her name but she was the manager of the hotel and sometimes laughed when I was discussing the problems I was having and bragged that she was going to sell the room to someone else. Disgusting attitude to have.
Great value hotel, walking distance from loads of great places in Birmingham. We were seeing a concert near by so this was a great choice. Its basic but clean and tidy, good soundproofing but the blinds let the morning light in. I would stay again.
Team very friendly , room very basic and clean but what you would expect for that price , weird waking up in room with no window but can’t really fault it , would stay again if a 1 night stay but any longer probably would want a bit more
Went to a show at Birmingham Arena and though we only live 12 miles away decided that instead of paying £40 for a taxi we would stay overnight, the room was a lot nicer than expected for the price, we had a comfy bed, the bathroom was clean, looked quite new and fully equipped, I borrowed a hairdryer from reception which I didnt expect to have use of. Would fully recommend to anyone who just wants somewhere to sleep after an evening out or an overnight stay with no frills.
Other than having a nightmare getting in after hours, even after giving my estimated time. It was a great hotel and a great sleep, perfect for one night. Brilliant location and very quiet surroundings
