The location is good for being close to the Barber Vintage, Motorsports Museum. The spreads on the two queen size beds, had mini stains and cigarette burn holes. In the toilet shower room, there were yellow dots across the ceiling in a straight line. The sink in the room had a broken drain. The breakfast service was good. The selection of items is definitely adequate. The egg circles in the sausage had a decent flavor having the low-calorie yogurt was great. The staff, including Paul, were very friendly. The biggest displeasure on this property was the condition of room 220. The pillows were too small and the room just didn’t feel as clean because of the appearance of the dirty bedspreads and stains on the ceiling in the bathroom.
Holes in bedspread, and old linen. Staff wouldn't provide a receipt upon checkout. Stay elsewhere if you have a choice
The staff was excellent and very accommodating.
smelly rooms and no free wifi or breakfast..
The property was dirty and I’ve tried calling y’all because I didn’t stay the second night
FAST EASY CHECK IN, FINE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST. ROOM GOOD SIZE
The room smelled bad and everything old. We had 3 rooms and two did not even have refrigerators/microwave. Group felt that this was way over priced for this hotel compared to others we have stayed at. It was not a good experience.
Key did not work a first, had to go back to desk and get another. One of the ice machines not working. Breakfast was better than many - juice and coffee were good, scrambled eggs and sausage links, fruit, etc.Starts at 6. No issues w/ room.
This is an OK motel, nothing great, but nothing bad either, and that's a good thing. The grounds weren't all that attractive but they were reasonably kept. It has a pool but I did not check it out. The lobby is large for morning breakfast, has a computer for guest use, a pancake machine, juices, fruits, etc., and link sausage and those odd fried egg patties. The coffee was just so so and one morning the OJ was diluted down too much. The room was better than average w/ a nice TV, fridge, microwave, etc. My first night the cable and WIFI were down. For Barber it is a savings over most area motels and just a few miles down the road. If you are going to eat in Leeds or Moody anyway, you are there.
I was in the area for an event at Barber Motorsport Park, a few miles west. This Days Inn is right off I20 and close to restaurants, Lowes, etc. The location is convenient but certainly not picturesque. The exterior of the motel and lobby are not particularly attractive but the rooms have obviously been recently renovated. Nice carpet, furniture, beds, TV, and decor. The sink top was granite as was the tub/shower surround. This room is comparable to the Hampton Inn closer to the track but for 1/2 price. OTOH much better than, say, the Motel 6 in Moody but not much more $. It wasn't breakfast at Tiffany's, or even Waffle House, but they did have scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits in addition to cereal, fruit, pastries, yogurt, etc. The coffee is not Starbucks but pretty good. Everything was clean and the clerks personable.
The hotel was a nice place to stay if you are on a budget. The room was decently clean and the bed was fine to sleep on. The hotel worked out just great for what I was there for, and if I make it back up that way again I will probably stay there.
This motel is very convenient to BARBER MOTOR SPORTS PARK. The room was fairly clean. We did request a room on the bottom floor and had to insist we got there they did not want to accomadate us. The rooms seemed to been redone since we had been there last yeat. We would stay there again, next time we go to Barber.
