First time there..The room was okay but had better at other places in big rapids..pool ice cold. Hot tub green/ yellow never went in the 2 days I was there pool or hot tub. Breakfast was ok/ good. Just depends. Probably will stay somewhere else in the spring.. Hopefully gets better.

From the outside, it is evident they are renovating. Walking in, the lobby was bright, clean and appears to be new. While the staff was great, the rest of the facility was not as desirable. We checked into a room undergoing maintenance which the front desk staff was unaware of after checking the system with no record of the work. She quickly switched our room though. When we went to use the hot tub and pool, HUGE disappointment. For one, there were no pool towels available. The hot tub was literally yellow, looked like urine but probably an overload of chemicals and there was debris floating around. The pool did not look much better so we chose not to utilize either. The rooms are definitely dated but quite clean. The towels were fresh and fluffy. Clean comfortable sheets and pillows with high quality mattresses. We slept well and our room was clean but that is the only good I can write. The breakfast was less than mediocre. Slimy premade omelettes, dried out potatoes and disgusting breakfast sausage. I opted for toast with yogurt and was satisfied enough with that. I will likely not return to this property and go to another hotel when visiting my daughter at college.

Oh my gosh, where to begin. When I was checking in they were telling the lady in front of me that there wasn't anyone available to fix the broken toilet in her room so her options were to just deal with it (there were no rooms available) or they would refund her money. That should have been a red flag. My bathroom shower was covered in mold. The toilet also did not work but I was able to flush it by taking the top off and pulling up on the flusher bar. The room carpets were filthy. I asked for a toothbrush and they told me they don't give out supplies, the kid at the counter was wearing and most of the outlets in the hotel room didn't work. What a disaster. The only thing good about the hotel is the condition of the lobby and the breakfast quality.

The pool was too cold to swim in, maybe wasn’t being heated at all? Hot tub is way too small and was really dirty. The key cards stopped working all the time and we had to keep going downstairs to get them reloaded. Phone in the room didn’t work. The place was not worth it!

We called in advance to hotel to make sure hottub was working, they told us it was, when we arrived, and after a day of sports, we went to hottub, and it was not working... whoever did the remodeling on hotel, should have been fired on day 1. Hotel room was missing curtains, kept us awake with light shining thru blinds. I won't be back to this hotel again

It was okay for a one night stay. But the outside of the building had pieces of the buildings stonework falling off, part of the awning was missing. Inside the walls were patched up, missing wall paper, hallways and rooms not lit well. You could hear everything through the walls. The room itself was fine other than some of the plugs didn’t work. It was hard to find seating at breakfast and they ran out of a lot of food by 8am. Trash was also overflowing at breakfast so people were just stacking plates by the garbage.
