Looking forward to a nice wood fire and a relaxing jacuzzi. nope can only use dura flame logs, disappointed

Check in was easy. Room was clean and neat. Fireplace was a plus and the heater kept the cabin comfortable. Kitchen had everything you need. Cable television with plenty of channels. Very relaxing stay and close to "The Village" for shopping and dining.

Had a good time at this location. The surroundings around this hotel are good. The staff was good too.

This is a really cosy hotel 2 minutes away from all the shops and restaurants,5 minutes from ski resorts,it's very clean and the location is peaceful and romantic.

tis place is close to village walking distance just be careful with cars. The price was a little high for a 2 star but it might have been the weekend we went. staff super friendly. We were in a very small room but we only needed to sleep.

Every one was friendly. Short walk to shopping and to the lake. Management was vary helpful on pointing locations out

Great place to stay, we stayed in the main building since the cabins were booked. The room was comfortable, had a fire place, Jacuzzi bath, patio nestled in the woods. Room had a kitchenette with bedrooms up stairs. Very nice owner/office staff. Location is very close to Big Bear Village.

I loved this cabin. It was nice and clean and truly cozy. It also has a small playground for the kids.

The good - Cottage is cozy, ample size, private, deck, staff is friendly, great location, short walk to village restaurants, good parking, Fireplace. hotel can improve on -the picture on this website shows hot tub/Jacuzzi in the bed room. Only 3 of the 12 units have a Jacuzzi/hot tub. Once we were in our room and noticed the lack of hot tub/Jacuzzi. I called the front desk and their response was 3 of our rooms have hot tubs and those are booked for the weekend. I told her on the website it shows there is a hot tub/Jacuzzi in the room. She went on to confirm that I booked the room the day before. I agreed and confirmed about the day before booking however on this website it shows a Jacuzzi/hot tub in the room. She didn’t offer a discount or any other consolations just said there are 3 rooms with hot tub/Jacuzzi and they are booked for the weekend. So chances are you will not get that Jacuzzi in your room.

This was a spontaneous decision to get out of the city for a day and everything was made at the last moment. Within 3 hours I was booked and sat in my Cozy Hollow Lodge for an escape from the Big City where it was over 100 degrees to the mountains with peace and quiet and 20 degrees cooler! Could not have been a better spontaneous experience!

The staff were friendly. We received an upgrade to the type of room I thought we were getting in the first place. The "one bedroom" room has no door or seperation of room and kitchen/spa area. The place was quite and cozy. Great little get away.

Wanted to get away from the city with the gf for a day so looked around for a place with nice reviews and a reasonable price. We payed a little more than we were supposed to so [...], the owner, gave us some complimentary firewood to keep warm at night. Since we hadn't been here before, she gave us Excellent recommendations for dinner and breakfast and boy was it delicious. I'll be going back here when we return. Thanks [...]!

there was a quick check in and friendly staff!!!! the cabin was very cute and quaint. we had our own fireplace with wood u can buy from the front desk or anywhere else. there wasnt room service waking u up in the early morning. u called when u were ready for them to come clean. also it was super quiet, no disturbances. i am a light sleeper and this is the first time in a long time that i slept thru the night. all the local entertainment was real close, bars restaurants and movie thaetre

The room was clean and comfortable. The heater worked very well. Almost too well. It is also very close to the village (not walking distance) and had enough parking. My only complaint was my unit shared a common wall wit another unit. The walls were very thing and not insulated well enough to block the TV noise and voices I can hear from my neighbors.

This was a last minute get a way for my husband and myself. The cabins are intimate and just what was needed for us to unwind and relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. I would recommend staying here again

Went to Big Bear for bridge tournament. One negative: office closes at 8pm so no ice available. NO maid service.

MADE LAST MINUTE RESERVATION AND THE LODGE WAS VERY ACCOMMODATING TO US. NICE COZY ROOM WITH FIREPLACE, THERMOSTATICALLY CONTROLLED HEATER AND PERFECT ATMOSPHERE. THE ADDED BONUS WAS WE WENT UP IN INCLEMENT WEATHER AND WOKE UP TO SNOW IN THE END OF MAY! AWESOME! VERY FITTING FOR THE CABIN. GREAT SERVICE, VALUE AND LOCATION!WE'LL STOP IN AGAIN FOR SURE. THANK YOU!

We got there late and the owners left a key for us in a place we agreed upon. The room was very clean, and even though it had snowed they kept the parking lot ice and snow free. When we spoke with the owners the next day, they were polite and helpful in anwering all of our questions and helped us find the different places we wanted to go to around town. We did have to run the water for the spa, then wait a while then run more hot water in the spa, the again, because it is a small tank and the hot water runs out quickly. But after the frist time, we had the hang of it, and had great, hot spa baths each night we were there. There was a full kitchen so we cooked and ate in our room each night. It was quite enjoyable.

The cabin was great. It was clean and had a great fire place. It seems like the showers were fixed, in response to the reviews below. Make sure your bring your own toiletries, as they have a bar of soap and thats it. We will go back again for a nice place to crash before a ski/snowboard session.

Cozy setting. Close to town. Stayed one night. Went to take shower the next morning and it did not work. I could not use bath tub. I was somewhat put off by the front desk at check-out when I informed them and all that was said was "we have to get that fixed" with no apology nor a discount (perhaps?). A shower should work - basic stuff here. But I did like the cabin. Maybe this was a one time thing.

We sell pine logs. The are manufactured with real wood. We find that there are no more carpet burns. Saves the guest a lot of money for carpet replacement. All of our spa cabins have efficient hot water if used properly. We do apologize for any inconvenience during your stay.
