The stay at this property was great. It is nice to be away from the bustle of a city. The rooms large enough, clean and tidy. There are great views all around as it is a large property nestled within the botanical gardens and it's own golf course. The buffett breakfast was very good and there are enough restaurants and food choices to eliminate moving from the property. You can even have high tea in the foyer! The pool was very good as well with the new childrens splash zone a real treat for the children. There is a playground for the children as well. Shopping and the city centres of Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach are only a short drive away. This is one place where you can just stay and relax.
The Royal Pines Resort is outstanding. Rooms are large and great restaurants to enjoy. Golfing, swimming, and surfers paradise extremely close by. Take a bike ride or a spa treatment, it's all here for you.
Stayed here for a work conference for 3 nights, was a great resort and has beautiful grounds. It was my first time to the gold coast and Racv royal pines is a real oasis, all the staff were really friendly. One morning the manager for house keeping knocked on my door to double check the cleaning and ensure I was happy with how my room was made up. I thought that was a nice touch and shows the staff take pride in their job. One thing that struck me is how family friendly the resort is, nice pools and plenty of grass to run around on. Hopefully I can bring my family here one time. The view from my room showed the hinterland which is stunning. Didn't use the shuttle bus but used uber no worries, being on a work conference I probably didn't make the most of the facilities such as shuttle bus and I was unsure how often it runs. I also wasn't sure if the pines has laundry services. Thanks again royal pines and hopefully I can visit again sooner rather than later.
We had a great room on the Executive floor with views to the coast over the golf Course. Marvellous (especially for kids ) swimming pool complex and the walks around the resort for older people were attractive too.Food in the restaurants and at a function attended by over 450 people was of a very high standard
The rooms are a good size but a bit dated. Excellent free gym. It's massive with separate cardio and free weights rooms. Breakfast was excellent but pricey if you don't book it during check in. The price jumps if you just rock up in the morning. Plenty of parking and large pool, playground and footy field for the kids.
I have stayed here twice before and quite like it. This time at check in gained an unusual insight In the next morning I had a scheduled breakfast meeting. The clerk proudly announced my rate included breakfast. I queried if there was a rate without breakfast. After a flurry of keyboard tapping he was pleased to offer a rate $50 less than my quoted rate. $50 for a restaurant breakfast? Really come on RACV that is outrageous! Room was great as usual. Parking under is easy. Will return but will check the rate and inclusions carefully.
I was booked in for a two day conference with four colleagues, I was the one who booked and paid for the rooms. However they put me in the worst room on the 4th floor and my peers in the executive rooms on the 19th. My room was above one of the restaurants with the smell of cooking and the clattering of cutlery wafting into my room. There was mold in the grout in the shower and long black hairs on the tiles (photos attached). The room was very tired overall, with stains on the carpet. The ironing board had no padding under the cover and made mesh marks on my clothes from the metal frame underneath. I could hear the wosh of the lifts all night from my room. Ordered the "mega salad" that was okay, however the fries soggy and cold. Breakfast was okay, usual basic affair, but asking the customer to pay an additional $5.00 for an omelette is appalling, it's eggs with a little bit of other stuff in it... Why!?! I walked around the golf course in the morning and that was nice. Overall disappointed RACV!
We stay at the Royal Pines at least once a year (usually for the Bruce Lynton Charity Ball). This hotel is certainly very classy and very well organised and run. The rooms are of the highest standard. My wife and I have used the Spa Suite and the King Superior Rooms and both are excellent. If you have time then the Spa suite is well worth the slightly extra. The rooms are clean and beds of a superior level. In general the rooms are of a better standard than most facilities (especially for value for money). The service is also excellent and it is a breeze checking in and checking out.All other requirements are catered for in regards to staff service (very quick and efficient). We have not been really able to use the other facilities (of which there are many) due to lack of time but visually they are well catered for. Highly recommend this resort especially if you are a member of a motor club like the RACV (which offers a further discount. Enjoy the stay.
Five days of golf at the Resort and stayed in a Spa Suite on a top floor. Housekeeping got full marks. Love the seats in the fast lifts. Views of the coastline were magnificent. Golf courses were difficult but in great condition. We ate at the hotel - Japanese, Italian, buffet and the breakfasts had wonderful variety of fresh fruit, cooked meals etc Can definitely recommend.
Staff were very friendly and the service was great. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant and it was great. Facilities are first class. An oasis on the Gold Coast. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip
