Peaceful , staff polite and access to everything we could need to relax Pool area inviting with good service Beds comfortable and easy walking to Shopping when you’ve had enough sunshine! Gym facilities only area that needs improvement .

At first glance it's a bit outdated but once you're in the room it's top notch. By far the best resort breakfast I've ever had. The location is great. Across from the beach and surrounded by several fab restaurants. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. Small pool but that didn't affect us since we swam on the ocean.

Check in was quick and fairly easy, I wasn’t recognized for being an Accor club member but the service was good. Rooms were very comfortable, allocated rooms close to the lift and didn’t hear a thing either night which was great. Had breakfast at the hotel the second morning, it was nothing short of terrible, the worst I’ve had of any Accor hotel. Check out was prompt and overall the stay was great.

Visited Sofitel Broadbeach on a business trip while attending a conference at the GCEC. Hotel is in the center of broadbeach with easy access to the GCEC, casino, Pacific Fair shopping centre, restaurants and the beach. Service was good and was acknowledged as a Le Club Accor gold member and I did receive my gift and complimentary water as part of my benefits but did not get any welcome drink or drink voucher. Check in and check out was easy. Parking is just underneath the hotel but there is also valet parking option too. My room was on 13th floor and it was one of the corner rooms which had great views from the 3 windows. I was staying in a superior ocean view room so had great views of the ocean from the balcony. Unfortunately the weather was not great during my visit as it was windy and wet. And because of this the balcony door was rattly which disrupted sleep. Room was clean and comfortable bed, however feels bit outdated especially the bathroom. Overall, no complaints and would be happy to visit again. But hotel could do with a renovation especially the bathrooms as they did not had a luxurious feel at all.

Less than 10 min walk to the beach and a small shopping centre & Woolworths. A short walk in the opposite direction will lead you to a Casino and Pacific Fair. There are many small eateries very nearby. Rooms are quite expensive considering it does not even include breakfast. Sadly the gym was undergoing renovation. I stayed for 5 nights and didn’t enjoy any discount nor special service or offers. It would have been a nice touch. If you arrive from Brisbane international airport like I did, be prepared to take more than 1 hour by the Airtrain and another 20 mins by car/bus to hotel.

This hotel is excellent. A top spot to stay as there are so many options for all meals. It’s close to the beach as well. A short walk to the Casino as well. The accommodation is always top shelf. The internet connection is very good for hotel standards. The bar downstairs is great and has very good food options.

This hotel really has hit the mark. The location is central to everything, restaurants, pacific fair and the Casino. The staff at the front desk were amazing. The pool is beautiful and the food is plentiful. Rooms were well appointed and our view was sensational. The staff in the bistro were attentive. Gavin made the most amazing cocktails and treated all of us like we were VIP’s. He is an asset to the Accor group.

My Partner booked us into the Sofitel Hotel for my birthday present. We checked in, went up to our room to discover that there were 2 single beds. Went to reception to change the room, and they said that they were all booked out and could not change our room. They apparently had some Accor seminar on. We were unable to get a refund. On principal, I was so peeved off, we packed our things up and booked into the Star instead. Turned out to be a very expensive birthday present. I wont be going back. Bad management, thats for sure.

Ok. So this was once a 5 Star hotel, but it has not kept up with the times and new competition. Service remains outstanding. It’s the building and internals that take points off. Carpets looking worn in hallways and room etc. Our room AC wasn’t working - but a call to maintenance quickly fixed that. The mattress was very uncomfortable and after request was replaced (but only slightly better). The bathroom is very 1990s in style. Seperate hot and cold taps in shower make finding the right temperature an experiment. The spa temperature is maintained at 35 degrees which is a tad hot for Gold Coast weather. Sounds like a whinge I know - I’ve stayed here every year for 7 years and it feels like it’s slowly being left behind the competition.

+ Good breakfast buffet at a satisfactory price + Room and facilities are clean + Great service, friendly staff + Carparking on-site is cheap; $15/day + Good location for restaurants and beach + 'Sleep Menu' is a nice addition - can choose different pillow / bath salts (for a fee) - Room is severely outdated and in desperate need of renovation - Wifi is far too expensive compared to other hotels in the area: $15 for 2 hours - Limited room service - Room are noisy and no sound privacy from neighbours - Costly - Photos inaccurate - Did not live up to expectations - Would not recommend for young couples - No bedside tables so forced to perch items on bed head
