I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights for business travel in Bangalore , we booked two rooms and one was not so good so we asked to change and there was no problem . People at the lobby are very friendly and available for every need. Rooms are big , bathroom little bit old but also big and with large shower. Breakfast is ok , mainly indian food . I reccomend .
This was our 2nd stay in the Hotel and the reason for coming back was the excellent Service that I experienced during my 1st ever Stay. We went with same passion and relax mood which was spoiled by a "Generous Lady" at Front Desk. My sharer was a repeat guest and she was harassed to the core during Check In. 1. She was looked like that she is not from a Noble Profession. 2. She was asked for Identification (which is fine), however was reminded 10 times that make sure your sharer comes at desk, sign the Registration form and do submit the ID. *Submitting ID is fine and always welcome. * But the "Generous Lady" didnot had a basic understanding that a human being understands better in 1st time and there is no need to repeat things 10 Times. 3. During Check-In my sharer mentioned that her head is aching and if she can have a medicine for the same. I would have appreciated if "Generous Lady" would have given it priority and would have not provided a medicine at 1st instance. Whereas, at 4th time when she was asked medicine it was delivered. ** Adding to wonders in place of a Headache medicine a body pain tablet was given. *** "Generous Lady" have some courtesy to ask for a seat and a glass of water if someone has mentioned he/she is not well. 4. Room change was done at the time of check-In and "Generous Lady" actually did not changed the room Key. Later when she realized the comment actually made us understood the training level of Front Desk. **** Mam we have changed your room that is why key is not working..... Hello! Is it our duty to remind you to change the room key as well. Isn't its your SOP. 5. The time I checked-In I asked very specifically that I want to meet with General Manager next morning. Whereas a Gentleman introduced himself as Manager on Duty who politely asked me if I would like to talk with him. I denied saying I am too tired and will talk tomorrow, **** We stayed there for 02 nights and no-one from the management tried to contact us. 6. I wanted to book a table at the Grill Restaurant for dinner and by same "Generous Lady" I was informed you can call restaurant directly from room to book. *** WOW! I did not realized she is too busy to assist with simple table reservation. I would surely recommend this hotel when it comes to House-keeping and Food & Beverage service levels but will also not visit again due to Front Desk service levels. GOLDFINCH TEAM: *** I would not like to name this "Generous Lady" but she do need training and refresher sessions and also how to respect another female.***
When we asked for an extra bed that we had already paid for through Make my trip...they did not give it and they finally gave only one of two beds on the second night...lost out on 5000 rupees which the hotel manager told he would refund by co-ordinating with MMT...but once I paid the room service bills...they just stopped answering and left me in the lurch...unethical people and hopeless overpriced hotel..blowed up 25k for this sort of an experience...please never ever go to this place again.. Beware of Zaheer and Santhosh.....
Recently stayed at the Goldfinch on a short business trip to Bangalore. On arrival they had upgraded me to a suite which sounded very nice - a very nice gesture. The suite was large but lacked a certain charm - can't say what it really lacked but it just didn't feel comfortable. This feeling pervaded the whole hotel for me. Also lacked a decent ac outlet for the PC and the wifi was very undertain - good once logged on but sometimes difficult to get logged on.
Location is good. When you order for Mineral water surely you need to wait for at least 10 minutes, either you're stuck in gullet. I found an insect in my Anjal Masala Fry. When I complained about it, the gentle man has took that insect in his finger & he went for investigation. Finally he didn't return back.
Stayed there for two night on a business trip. The room was clean, spacious and well maintained. The buffet breakfast was good terms of spread and but just OK in taste. The location is excellent and is near to a lot of government offices as well as the happening MG road. The hotel houses 3-4 restaurants offering different cuisine. The rooms service was quite expensive though. Well the staff was welcoming and pleasing but the speed of service was quite slow be it at the reception (check-in / check-out) or when attending to a room service/housekeeping request. The gym was well equipped having all essential equipments in working condition. Still a good stay and value for the price that I paid for.
Nice hotel with okayish rooms. Seriously need to refurbish the beds and repaint the walls. Also, please add more lighting in the room. The location of the hotel is excellent but some refurbishing has to be done. Certainly not 4 star property, but was decent fro the price for which i got it.
This hotel is in prime location near race course road. Rooms were spacious, neat and clean. Exillent service by the hotel staff, very supportive and understand the needs of customers. Food taste is awesome and very fast service. This hotel is also pocket friendly. Gym was good and I enjoyed morning walking on treadmill and used other equipment too. I will definitely suggest the hotel for others.
The hotel is centrally located and is a boon for foodies and for those who love konkan cuisine. The hotel offers valet Parking without which it would be impossible for anybody to find a parking space here. Overall a nice place. Just that the restaurants are a bit expensive.
We stayed here for one night while on a trip through Southern India. Hotel was clean, nice and comfortable, and we would stay here again. Rate included breakfast which was nice. Staff very helpful. A nice stay.
