The property was rather premium and has a great location within walking distance from many points of interest of old Beijing, especially considering the cost of the booking. 2 subway stations and a major shopping district are within walking distance from the hotel.

This hotel has a great location: walking distance to Wangfujing Street and the Forbidden City. We also walked to the subway station for the #5 subway. Moreover, there are restaurants and grocery stores across the street. Overall, we are satisfied with the location and the price.

very good location and costumer service. I will stay this hotel again when next time visiting Beijing!

Pros : nice location, close to subway and wangfujing street. Cons: 1-Terribly dirty carpet everywhere including elevators. 2- Fridge didn't work properly and when we reported that to the front desk they said it was normal and if we needed to store anything we could use the hotel kitchen fridge ? ! We just needed to store our drinks without having to make trips to the hotel kitchen every time we needed a sip of water! 3-AC was turned down at night, we always woke up with a sweat around 5 am. 4-on the website it says hotel provides a shuttle but there was none, it was actually a regular cab or a business cab that they will call for you . The hotel is absolutely not a 4 star hotel, and it definitely doesn't worth the price, we have stayed in similar hotels in China for half price and for the same price we got much better.

The staff wasnt nice. They did not help to print a receipt necessary to get a refund from my company.

The hotel is good, located in the middle of Beijing, most of the hotel employees' English was challenged, nevertheless they tried their best to communicate. To me, the room had a cigarette smell but not for the rest of my family, however their Internet is terrible! Awesome breakfast at the Cafe next to the elevator, the restaurant at the other end though is bad. Don't go there.

Great Location! Walking distance to Wangfujing Street. Hotel is overall worn down and needs a renovation.

It was our first time in Beijing. The hotel was clean but the front desk staf not very friendly. Thankfully they dont represent the beauty of Beijing.

Hotel currency exchange was closed at check in but not to their fault. It was due to the celebration of the end of WWll. Tour office was also closed. Couldn't book a tour for the next day so we freelanced. Cab drivers or hotel drivers didn't want to take us anywhere because of all the closed roads for vehicles. Hotel was very clean and so were the rooms. Cleaning staff was very good and friendly. Counter staff wasn't all that great. Limited english speaking staff with limited vocabulary. One girl stood out and was our main go to. Good selection of western style food but some thinds were cold on the inside. Were pressed for time to eat before a tour. Breakfast starts at 6am. When they opened, there were no eggs, coffee, milk.... not set out. But compared to other hotels they are reasonably priced. So I guess you get what you pay for. My first choice and booking was the Capital Hotel. Stayed there a few years back and they were superb. But reservations were booted because the government had the WWII suvivors staying there. When I return in a few years, I will book at the Capital Hotel again.

pretty good. have a good stay. good location, business place and really centered in the city. close to destination.

The hotel is close the center business district of Beijing, within walking distance to subway station, shopping malls, with MacDonald and 7-11 convenience store just across the street. The room is very clean and comfortable. I give a thumb-up to the hotel's overall performance.

I am a frequent business traveler. This hotel is the best in its kind I found in the surrounding area.

We have stayed in this hotel for serveral times. It is in a good location. We are happy with each of stay except this time we encountered some problems with their internet WIFI services. We went there right before Christmas, and we liked this hotel because they also offer free WIFI. However, when we were there last year, they were changing internet providers and most of the time in our 9-day stay, there is no WIFI signal. This was frustrating since we needed to communicate with friends in both US and in China. Other than this, the hotel is ok.

Fantastic location, very nice room and a great value for the price. Staff not fantastic with English, but very helpful.

My first visit to China so I wasn't sure what to excpect. The room was smaller than what we would excpect in the US but it was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was very good. I really liked the location with the the Wangfujing shopping area, the Forbidden city and Tian anmen Square within easy walking distance. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Exchanging money was very easy and without the service fee you pay at the airport although make sure the bills your bring with your are perfect with out any small tears or worn areas.

Staff did not speak English and took nearly 1 hour to fix the safe deposit box. The rooms were not renovated, appeared old.
