I would stay here again. Pros: It's adjacent to the metro, it was clean and comfortable, it had a good view, and it's a nice hotel in a good area. Cons: Several of the staff in the restaurants don't speak English, spare cot smelled of smoke, only 3 US friendly outlets, scale didn't work, food in the restaurant (2nd floor) is expensive ($38 USD for breakfast per person, May 2018).
Nice hotel, excellent location and infraestructure. Staff no really helpful with westerners, English not really good
Well at check in i wrote you because I had specifically ask about other charges when I sent you almost $2000 but at check in thay demanded another almost $1300. So we paid meals are very expensive breakfast for 2 over $50 and that is buffet so I will not go through ORBITZ. Ever again and if someone had replied on my first comment my mind would stay open but you didn't you got my money and ran
Got a great rate because it was winter but still a beautiful spot
Room is spacious. Everything is first class. Breakfast is good. Very convenient located.
We will be back! The service is a plus big , from front desk to concierge they outdid themselves to cater to us . Loved the room And the view to the city. The Regent club provides the vip treatment you need when staying in a city like Beijing. Metro in the same building its also walking distance to many great shopping centers and the forbidden city . Thanks Regent!
Totally awesome! Great location: subway station is practically attached to the hotel, short walk to Wangfujing, walking distance to Tiananmen & Forbidden City, and great restaurants nearby, e.g. Tatung, Morton steakhouse. Very professional staff, esp. Concierge desk, which can get you anything literally. Good size room w/ great view. Would definitely back next time when we revisit Beijing.
We stayed 4 nights in Beijing and we absolutely loved regent hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel is very clean and quiet! I enjoyed the view from my room. I stayed so many different hotels in Beijing and Shanghai this year and I have to say this is the best hotel I have stayed in the past and I would definitely come back.
This hotels level of service has dropped tremendously since my last stay a few years ago. 1) House Keeping did not clean my room after I called them and received a confirmation. 2) My wake up call was 15 mins early with a rude and direct when are you checking out... Literally what she said. 3) As I waited for my friend in the lobby. I asked if I can wait by the cafe area. The little girl said paying customers ONLY! And then turned her back to me. My stay at this hotel was excellent 3 years ago. The staff, service and level of professionalism for a 5 star hotel has since disappeared.
Satisfied all comforts for business or personal travel. Recommend.
This is my second time at the hotel. Very lovely rooms, but the floor to ceiling windows created a draft that brought in the cold air from outside. Otherwise, the hotel is great !
We stayed in the upgraded executive room and had a fantastic time. I highly recommend getting the bigger room - it's huge. It also allows access to the 17th floor lounge which has a great breakfast every morning, snacks during the day, and food and drinks in the evening. The staff was very helpful and the hotel is absolutely beautiful. It's right next to a subway stop for easy transportation and walking distance to Wangfujing.
Minimal English; definitely not my idea of a 5 star hotel
We have spent a week in the hotel and it has been one of the greatest vacations we had, service was exellent, amenities also great and friendly staff. We will stay there again next time in Beijing
The venue was close to all the attractions and shopping areas we need to get too! The sub way was under the hotel, which is the way to get around Beijing without getting ripped off by the taxis. The staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The food and the Spa were great.
Im a regular'at'the Beijing Regent,'is well'locates,'friendly staff,'good'rrom service.'just few things are not good'for'a'5'star'hotel,'with over 7 years open. Needs to change carpets,'and specially the a/c system. Is terrible. ' But still is a friendly, niece place to stay.
Great hotel and location. Best room of all the Beijing hotels I've stayed at.
