This review is more about Intertrips than specific hotels. This review is long, but well worth your time, At the very least read the bullet points. Some of this may seem like common sense for a well seasoned traveler, But if this is your first time going to China pay attention. 1. Intertrips will never volunteer information, you must ask and be specific. even tho the contract says you can not add days or side trips, many people on our tour did. Also you are not limited to the airports they list. You can fly out of the airport close to your home. You must also tell them how you would like to fly, example; flight time and seat location. This can greatly affect your vacation. 2. Tipping is mandatory, and they will collect it on the second day of tour. AND they want cash, not credit cards. 3. Bring toilet paper, Hotels have it, rest stops don't. And female toilets are squatty potties. Western toilets are rare at tourist stops. Extremely rare soap and almost never any paper towels 4. You will need Chinese money to eat and shop at local stores, Only government stores take credit cards. 5. All factory tours are hard sell and not cheap. You are lucky if you get out dropping only $100.00 (and that's a low figure) 6. You must pay for optional tours in cash, They are not kidding. 7.If you like soy sauce, bring it your self, you will rarely get any, and Chinese food is not what you think, it is very bland. We also brought snacks with us, good thing because we got hungry 8. Remember to bring all medication including cold meds, stomach meds, eye drops, Respiratory meds for SMOG. what ever you think of smog, its really bad. You can not just go to a pharmacy to get what you need, And if you find something, remember it is written in Chinese. 9. getting the Visa was the worst of all, Intertrips will help, but IT IS YOUR responsibility. Now about the trip itself, It was totally worth it. However with all the extra fees, it was not that cheap of a vacation, for example, adding all the optional tours = $462 per person, tipping $100.00 per person, Visa and passport fees, adding upgrades or different airports adds up. But it was still worth the money. The hotels are not 5 star, They are very nice, decent rooms and the morning breakfasts were usually very nice, but because I read another review, we did load up on Breakfast as you usually only eat twice a day. (unless you like to eat late at night). You are also changing hotels every day or 2, that's tiring. Every factory tour you go to, will have lunch, 8 to 10 people per table with a giant lazy Susan, served family style, these lunches are just so-so. (that's where you will want soy sauce) Hot tea, 2 bottles of beer and 1, 1 liter bottle Not a 2 liter bottle, of Coke or Sprite per table. If you want more you must pay. Only small plates are used and juice glasses for drinks. You will get to know the people you travel with, that was the fun part. Wine is never served. As for the factory tours, when you first arrive they will put you in a class room to teach you about their product ie, jade, pearls, tea, silk, bamboo and "medicine" Then when you are free to browse a sales person will follow you around until you buy something, hard core selling technique. That's part of the fun, they are not mean but VERY persistent. If you think your city has bad traffic, you haven't seen anything like China's. Sit back and watch the show. We had a wonderful time, everyone was very nice, tour guide, the people and everyone on our tour. I would go back in a heart beat, but that flight is one long ride, that's the biggest down side. Chinese people are very friendly, Caucasian people are usually the main attraction, they want to take a picture with you. But they don't queue, If there is an inch between you and the person in front of you, someone will squeeze in. whether walking or driving. It doesn't matter A lot of horn honking but never belligerent. This trip was well worth it. but Intertrips was a bit aggravating. You must keep on them, we felt like it was a do it yourself vacation. intertrips was not very helpful.

Very comfortable stay. Rooms were very large, with beds, desk and seats. Also a cable-ethernet connection was present. Bathroom in good state, with daily cleaning. Almost all the employees at the entrance desk could speak a good English, which was not true for the young guys at the concierge. Several additional services are offered, like laundry, a pool and a small gym. Breakfast absolutely rich. The hotel is 10'-15' walking distance from Line 1 Wukesong subway station. In conclusion, a recommended choice.

The hotel is about an hour drive from the Beijing airport. We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel on our trip to China with SOTC. Our room was on the 6th floor and provided a nice view. Room was very spacious and had all the facilities one would expect. There was kettle, dryer, safe locker, iron table and toiletries plus slippers. Room was very clean as well the bathroom. Free WiFi was available with good speed. Breakfast space was huge and provided lots of choices however vegetarian options were limited. Eggs to order, juices and fruits plus yogurts were available. A 24 hour super market was just across the hotel. Had a comfortable stay.

Stayed for 1 night during business trip in Beijing Pluses: - great service! Reception, room service, concierge, breakfast - this hotel has very high service standards (meet 5 stars); - good breakfast; - big rooms; - good location for this area. Minuses: - it is a little old hotel - but still keep clean and no smell; - was charged more expensive then booked online.

I liked this hotel, amenities are good, breakfast had many varieties and staff is friendly. Most of the staff can not speak english but they try to help you in which way. I enjoyed my stay here. Only down side is its far from airport.

We stayed in this hotel in group package in Sep2016 for 3 days. Beautiful hotel, great stay. Rooms were large. We preferred rooms on nonsmoking floor. No noise disturbance. Good wifi. Even rooms were having 220 volts plug. All toiletries, tea coffee maker in room . Internal safe was well attached to cupboard. Large restaurant . Breakfast was good. There was small market opposite hotel. Hotel building has ATM to operate on outer side. They give only one key card for room,if lost you have to pay charges Shortcomings 1 No milk sachets, 2 As we are in group package, mini refrigerator was locked Overall totally satisfied

Lovely hotel to stay in for business or holiday. Very close to a subway stop that takes you right downtown, or just go for a walk around the area and see how local people live. The Executive lounge of this hotel is a great place to relax or do business and the staff are very helpful and speak good english.

A very good and safe hotel for family trip. Rooms are comfortable . staff is polite and good. food is very good and tasty with ample variety. one can enjoyed this property. disadvantage is away from market. Overall love to stay again during next visit.

The room was clean,OK ,but the carpet was dirty and the furniture is not new, a spaciuos bathroom. The breakfast has most chinese food, sure not a 4 star hotel but near. Free wi-fi. And not all the staff understand english.

We were in this hotel fr three nights in mid june.its a nice place ..far awayfrom citycentre...language is an issue but then thats all over china .the rooms are nice but bathroom small.the breakfast is good but they had chiken and beef sausage in one container. ..which can b an issue with some .there is no markings suggesting veg or non veg and they can't explain it when u ask ....there are alot of shops in front selling all kinds of general stuff...overall good place to be
